Make sure your canvas width and height are EVEN numbers. Odd numbers will throw the grid off :)
There’s a pretty simple fix for this, just go into the drawing guide settings and adjust it by hand, zooming in close to get the grid aligned almost perfectly.

Can you make a video on how to make a pixel brush from scratch? Because I don’t have that one pixel brush and I can’t find it anywhere
Ever since you uploaded this video you demolished the flood gates in my head and all this motivation to create pixel art came flooding in. I never really had any interest in creating pixel art, but all of a sudden it's all I can think of. I've been inhaling every video on pixel art I can find, reading all the forums and blogs, and even created a tiny Marilyn Manson to use as my avatar on here.

I have to add: under properties, you have to change Minimum size to none. Or else your brush will still draw multiple Pixels.

- When you crate a new canvas, you should use even numbers (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, ...) for the Width and Height. When I used uneven numbers, the grid doesn't fitted to my pixels of my brush.

This video popped up in my recommended section yesterday and I'm really glad I watched it. Really clear instructions and I'd never thought of creating pixel art with Procreate. I was able to get the brush set up and put a simple gif together. I'm looking forward to doing more with this!

Thanks for sharing your process, the results look great! There are a few things you mentioned that are improved in Pixaki 4. Layers are now shared across the whole animation, which should save you a lot of time. There’s a new MP4 / QuickTime export option, which also supports magnification. And for improved palm rejection, you can turn off touch in the settings. Thanks! Luke

The only things I would say is it still isn’t exact enough to use easily, but with a bit of effort it can be done. Might be worth Procreate considering this as a feature, so it can be advanced a little further to make it intuitive.

I created a picture withb132x280 pixels. But when i save it as a png or jpeg, it is blurry and i cant see individual pixels. It looks like a thumpnail.
Did you have the same problem or do you have any tipp for me?
Jonathan Lange you need to repeat the steps mentioned in the video at 19:45 remember to resize the canvas to the power of two to avoid sub-pixels.
The magnetics snap is pretty strong so look for it before you let go of the screen while scaling.

Just wanted to say a comment like this is really why it's worth to make videos like these on my channel in the first place. I'm always excited when people feel brave enough to try new creative things =) BTW if you want my advice on where to start then I HIGHLY suggest starting with a very low resolution like Game Boy. NES seems ALMOST the same on paper but it's so much more work it's pretty daunting. That's what my next pixel art video will be about partly.
