Konnichiwa Ryusei! :) Ikura nigiri sushi is one of my most favorite kinds of sushi in addition to maguro nigiri sushi. I didn't know there was this much preparation for lkura. I appreciate you teaching how to prepare ikura and showing the proper way to slice sakè and preparing sakè nigiri sushi. Arigato!!! :)
It looks delicious and beautiful but I am afraid to try ikura because they are so big roe! haha I really enjoy masago or tobiko - small and crunchy! I must try ikura some day. Thank you for the lesson 🙂

Yes, in Japan salmon is in the season. And Ikura is too, although we get salmon through the year, we get salmon roe from autumn to winter. Thank you for watching!!
