    Ikura nigiri sushi is one of my most favorite kinds of sushi in addition to maguro nigiri sushi. I didn't know there was this much preparation for lkura. I appreciate you teaching how to prepare ikura and showing the proper way to slice sakè and preparing sakè nigiri sushi. Arigato!!! :)

    It looks delicious and beautiful but I am afraid to try ikura because they are so big roe! haha I really enjoy masago or tobiko - small and crunchy! I must try ikura some day.

      Yes, in Japan salmon is in the season. And Ikura is too, although we get salmon through the year, we get salmon roe from autumn to winter. Thank you for watching!!
