Such interviews should be conducted by doctors. She should have mentioned that this pharmaceutical ingredient has been used for glaucoma for decades. She does not even ask a follow up question that how long the patients were followed up for side effects? How long the patients were treated, what kind of clinical trial was it? Whether it was a randomized control trial? 250 patients is too less for such a common condition.
Agree with what you said but if 250 patient is too less, the question is on the governing body who approved of this, shouldn't the trial standard be set by dcgi?
@@dheerajyadav8134 I don't know on what basis DCGI gives approval. Maybe since the compound is already approved by FDA, DCGI would have been contended by the smaller number. However, as the scientist/founder said, that they used different additives etc. which makes it a bit different drug even though the main active ingredient i(Pilocarpine) s the same. So, typically it would not come in bridging trials where the pharmaceutical companies are asked to conduct smaller trials in patients in a country cause the original clinical trial is conducted in a different race/geography (most likely Caucasians).
Appreciate that print is even doing interviews like this
@@abhik8259 bro doctors are the main culprit who sell poison to you and everybody for sake of commission
I appreciate that the host had relevant questions and had background as well as understanding of the topic. If you expect followup and details like what kind of trial, it could have been a video which most of us don't understand nor interested. The person did mention to make their data available on public domain.
but he is wearing spectacles...did u tried first sir...
Me too wondering the same 😂😂😂
The drops are for presbiopia( paas ke number) while he has hypermetropia (dor ke number)
It is for public and not for doctors...
It works for buyers only 🙄🤭
That's for myopia, not presbyopia
This is great news...many will welcome this product in India
I see a lot of foolish people in comments section who have no idea what is near sight …..
We have them in a majority and the same IQ is applied during voting, and other duties of being citizens of our country.
Near sight ,? Are u trying to say short sight boss ??
This medicine only cures those above 70 yrs
Eye Cataract
I am 80 now. When I was 55 years old, I got cataract both eyes, stage 1. As per the kottakkal ayurveda doctor started using eye drops Kachayapanam Khuzhumbu. Till today there was no necessity of surgery for the Cataract. Now when I am 80, based on some symptoms, got eyes checked up. Now the Cataract is in between 2 and 3rd stages. Eye glasses got changed.
Symptoms I noticed due to slight increase in cataract are:: on the toilet floor I started seeing random red lines and along with red lines I saw red ants moving. Seen from a distance. There is no colour change of the floor. And when I see walls I find a fantastic beautiful pattern instead of a plain coloured wall. Colour change is not there.
I am trying to control the present problem from increasing further.
My dad started with a mild cataract in one eye. Your suggestions pls based on how to treat

How dare a sort of respected platform like the print advocate this quackery to the world?!
Isme modi godi kuchh nahin hai. Sab commercial hai. Ab to govt ne isasey permission bhi wapas le li hai. Aur ye Print waley apne views badhane ke liye galat bayani karte hain.
It is a stopper of reading glasses only . Reading Glasses cost around ₹60/ and last for months. The monthly cost of 345/ is exorbitant.
Reading glass cost ranges from Rs.60/ to 30000/
@@shafeequeparappan5068 Good luck for new eye drops.
Rs 1200 to 2000 looks to be a reasonable range, and glasses last for years.
The comments here asking about his glasses,I think it's for myopia( it's on rise since last 20 years in the world,n by 2050 half of the world population will have myopia)..I'm 48 n recently got the reading glasses with number +0.75, as was having slight blurry vision while reading(age related presbyopia)..otherwise still my vision is 20/ 20...will ask an opthalmologist about the drops if these are effective n without side effects...

NiKHiL drop is beneficial to indians in eye care.
nikhil has successfully developed eye drops to get rid of READING GLASSES.
nikhil is top1 indian genius and his contribution to indian eye care is phenomenal.
he became the no.1 contributor in indian health care system.
This is one of the greatest achievement from an Indian R&D research and development genius Mr. Nikhil.
No need of reading glasses when you have nikhil drops developed by none other than our own indian genius Mr. Nikhil the CEO of Pharma
But he is wearing a reading glass.
What happens when you look up from the book. Everything is blurred !
Thank you for this new development , however has the same reach the market if so where is it available.🙏
I am happy with my glasses.
I don't understand the economics of this. If it is costing 345/- per month, a fixed number plastic spectacle for near vision is available for few hundred rupees. The lady should have questioned the economics of it.
Pilocarpine 2% eye drops are available for Rs 50 they want to rebrand this as miracle formula and loot consumers.
its a medicine for glaucoma only . not for any other eye disease.
Can we ask simple question to MrNikhil if they have already invnvented & tested the eye drop; how come he being CEO of company still using glasses?!?
Is it a one time cure/treatment (for whatever duration) to fix the issue or an ongoing medication like insulin for diabetes?
Nice to hear of this. Thank you for the video
Why only 250 patients enrolled .we should have very large data for such a common problem
What is the cost price per bottle
Will this reduce distance vision while improving the near vision?
What about Hyper myopia? Is that any effective in that case ?
What is the name of that eyes drops?
will it cure myopia ?
ThePrint, You're the best! I subscribed because I love your content!
If i have eye sight issue, i would pursue external body correction rather than internal.
You never know how your eye/body could react to drops. If you use wrong number lens, throw them away you are done no harm.
Drops go inside you eye...i will personally never touch them.
Will it also remove Cataracts?
Where I got it
Government has just suspended their licence today
One infection and people will loose sight. If your glasses work for u , stick to them. There is history with eye drops from India with adverse issues
@@muralichundi don’t be negative. India exported covid vaccine globally. Did people get infected?
In Indian, thousand different kind of eye drops are manufactured & shipped world wide, from Europe to Africa from past many years. Not sure what you are talking about.
Good 👍
Why you can't use this drops🤔
Why not y use
This has to be used regularly so that business will flourish
5ml will last how many days ! Should have asked that. Cost per month or year will be know this way. We need smarter journalists 😢
Why Nikhil is wearing a reading glass.......🤔
you too can be pilot
There is no drug in India which is available "only" on doctor's prescription
Why he use spectacle still ? Why dont he prove the presvu drops can repair the sight and can live with out glasses ???

Why is Nikhil wearing glasses
Madam u r working with print,
,
Publicly is pronounced as Puhb-lik-ly and not puhb-li-kaly.
The CEO must start using and stop using his own glasses.
But why the speaker himself who is wearing specs ,has not used thr drop.
It's for reading glasses

@BeReasonable-w9x This is for presbyopia, for middle aged people, not short-sightedness or far-sightedness
@BeReasonable-w9x . He's not wearing reading glasses.
😂😂😂
😂😂😂
😅
The founder should use This & must remove his specks fir ever....
But eye site should last...
This eye drops is giving LENSKART competition 😂🤣🤪
Is there any eyedrop or medicine to remove cataract
Pilocarpine! 😂 been in use last 50 yrs and no ophthalmologist prescribes for glaucoma and it minimises the pupil size. Can’t use it in dimly lit areas
Can i use eye drop everyday
Does it work for someone with shortsight, astigmatism along with need for Reading glasses. The last time I had to cough up 45K for progressive lens not including frame cost. So a very pertinent question for me.
Yeah, until I see the clinical trial data & read the peer-reviewed scientific articles, I'm not believing anything!!
Pahle iska chashma utaro😂
Oh ho.. Lenskart stocks dropping
Its totally promotion video i think.

250 patient is very less.
