    Just started following your channel. This is probably the best walk through I have seen on UA-cam. Your channel is very informative. I will try your smoke turkey legs this Thanksgiving. Should turn out well. Be blessed!

    Love that cooker. Gotta be great for catering. I did a 300 person pulled pork dinner using 3 pellet smokers, man was that rough, lol.

      It is great for cooking for large crowds! You have the capacity to cook at least 12 pork butts at one time…It’s a game changer.

    Very nice. I spatchcocked, no brine, pellet grill, sprinkled with herb butter every 20-25 min. Family freaked out how moist it was. Pulled bird at 160. Happy thanksgiving from TX.
    I really like the rubs you use. I watch a lot of your videos. I suggest you try boar’s night out white lightning double butter garlic rub if you haven’t yet. It is right up your alley.

    Another great cook. Those turkeys look great. How long did it take the smoker to get to 300 degrees?

    • @DskiGrillz
      @DskiGrillz  3 роки тому +1

      Over two hours. I believe it was truly over loaded with almost 140lbs of Turkey and very little room fir the heat to circulate. Thanks for checking out the video Wayne. Hope you had a great thanksgiving.

    Massive cook up on a really big cooker.
    What was going on with the Glen Blue? You swung the camera to the right and it looked like you were firing up the 26er? What is happening there?
    Good video.

      My Brother showed up with two Turkeys so we put them on the Glen Blue using the slow and sear and three pecan chunks. It came out out really good.

    Do u have to soak your wood chunks? I’ve always been told too. Liked and subscribed 👍👍🤙

    • @DskiGrillz
      @DskiGrillz  3 роки тому

      I remember soaking wood chips years ago but never chunks. I made a note in the video on just how much smoke was coming from the ole hickory using the dry chunks. I think the soaking step for chunks isn’t necessary but for chips it would help them last longer since their much smaller and thinner pieces of wood.

    Hello... how many 20lb turkeys can you fit in cto or ace mm? Whole.

      @@DskiGrillz thanks. But im sure u mean spatch cock. Unless you meant 4 per rack, removing the middle and top rack.

    • @DskiGrillz
      @DskiGrillz  2 роки тому +1

      @@rafaelrodriguez442 You are correct. I did mean spatchcock. But I’m confident hat you could get four on the bottom rack and four on the second rack. Removing rack 1 and 3 should give you the clearance needed.

    You still have the ol hickory? You still like it?

    • @DskiGrillz
      @DskiGrillz  3 роки тому

      I still have it and love it! I generally cook on it for catering events only as its not really economical to use on smaller cooks. It is an awesome smoker!

    • @RicardoZ590

      @@DskiGrillzhi there! Just curious. When you say it’s not economical for smaller cooks, what does that mean?

    • @DskiGrillz
      @DskiGrillz  11 місяців тому

      @@RicardoZ590 The smoker uses a good amount of charcoal whether you cooks one brisket or 8 briskets for example. One load of charcoal will last roughly 4 hours. I use a 16lb bag to cook a brisket for roughly 10 to 12 hours. Why not use the full capacity for the same amount of charcoal. My Weber summit would use one third the amount for cooking a brisket. Hope this helps
