Welcome to Time Warp Custom Paint! In this tutorial, I will teach you how to layout graphics using lime line tape on top of metalflake and blend black basecoat to create a stunning design. Watch as I use a lace material as a stencil to create a beautiful floral pattern and then paint a stencil style mural of Marilyn Monroe on the back fender using my cricket cutter to cut out the design to be airbrushed. I will also be demonstrating how to use sprayable sizing glue to apply a stunning silver leafing to add a finishing touch. Love your videos and the work you produce. Is there a trick or tip for making the tape behave when you are making radius turns? My tape seems to always crinkle up in the turn.
Try not to pull so hard on the tape when taking tight quarters

Looks really good. How long do you wait to pull off the tape after spraying? And how long do you let the paint dry before re-taping?
The basecoat dries in the matter of minutes

"Please help me. I have been airbrushing pictures onto my car using regular car basecoat paint, but it takes a full day for the paint to dry. Intermediate painters have told me that when I overspray the basecoat, I need to add a layer of clear coat within 10-15 minutes, otherwise the basecoat will not properly adhere to the clear coat. How can I do this properly? Thank you."
