Re the country codes, I believe that Italy has 2 selections. It's either 4W AM/FM or 1W AM and 4W FM. I also noticed that I2 didn't have the full 40 channels.
just playing with a 47 year old hand held.... still better than most... sommerkamp ts5680 am 80 channel.... id forgot how good these were....love your channel Fred its what got me back into cb
Great to see you trying to get money off for us, little people FRED.you do what you got to do keep pushing mate, great to hear that your channel is getting bigger. one thing about the radio was that a heat sink on the back of that 4 WATTS, cheers FRED take care of yourself and yours, Alan 💯🍻👍
Hi Gary. Yeah i miss it really. The simple clicky channel select. I use to mark the surround with tipex to swap to fav channels quickly so not to mis a copy from the 14.
The Tidradio H3 with original firmware update does also receive cb band fm. (18-48 mhz) I bougt one and straight out of the box it can receive cb band (and more). So please update your H3 Fred and do a new review of the radio. Greetings from the Netherlands.
No not really. I ve explained it all before. Radio is quite a hard subject to produce a weekly video about. Sometimes (like recently) you can go weeks without any decent radio propagation. Once you up and running on YT you need to keep uploading regular to get even close to getting anywhere like recommended. My recent Quansheng review is close to 200k views. Sometimes CB videos struggle to 1.5k. Even my recent Beginners Guide video barely got 2k. Non brainer really.
Just another rebadged unit coming from some or other Chinese manufacturer. Hate to say it but CB seems more dead than ever in the U.K. except for a dew pairs of blokes talking to each other.

Thanks. Welcome back to radio. A lot has changed.
Fred, don't worry about your hands being in frame. Some people will moan about anything.

Cheers Alan. I got nearly 19 watts out of this rig with some poking under the hood. All in the Sunday video.
Always cool when you do a chatty video, and keep going with your hands Fred :D
Look forward to the power mod coming up. Not too expensive to throw in a 4x4 or something. 😊
I quite like the look of that radio mate. Im a bit of a sucker for the retro stuff.

You are very welcome
Fred could you recommend a cheap set of PMR radio's for kids to use in the UK please
Hi. I think these would do the job. ua-cam.com/video/0rFqJnbtAt4/v-deo.html
Not the prettiest radio but as long as it works 👍
Yeah a bit odd. That new 9900 looked sweet. hope it performs as well as the old DX killer.
@@UK-CB-RADIO should work well, it has the same features as the new President Washington (Might even have the same board inside)
The old one was epic on SSB. Not an easy radio to learn for the beginner though.

Easy to program with Bluetooth and Odmaster on your phone.
There is also software for PC / laptops to program and software to operate the radio.
Is that one of those dreaded din mic connectors like some radio shack had?
Yep
Have you done a review of that USB LSB Am hand held Fred the German one?
No have not.
I am here in the UK for a few days from Canada. I am originally from Royston Herts. Any where local to herts selling equipment? Jeff.
Hi. Nothing really in Herts as its all sold on line since covid. Only other store i know is ML&S Martin Lynch and Sons Ltd
Ese radio funciona en México?
Dicen que solo con cortar el puente del cable blanco sube a 18/19 vatios, es cierto?
Nice one Fred! Have you mucked about with meshtastic yet? Thought it would be right up your street
Hi no ive seen a few vids on it but not really been grabbed by it. Yet.
ohhhhh - yet another review of a freebie radio - your gaff must be full of them.
Yawn been said before.
@@UK-CB-RADIO getting tedious, though, don't you agree?

@@UK-CB-RADIO I must have missed the one where you forced them to watch your review vids😂
I enjoyed it, carry on mate.

Not on SSB.
