re you looking for an opportunity to kickstart your photography career and learn from the best in the business? Look no further than The Photo Studio's Photography Internship program. Over the course of 15 weeks, you'll gain invaluable hands-on experience and be exposed to all aspects of photography, from backstage preparation to camera operation. As an assistant, you'll commit to 2 days a week, 6-8 hours per shift, with availability on the weekends highly recommended. While the internship is unpaid, the knowledge and skills you'll acquire are priceless.
During the program, you'll progress through 5 stages, each with its own set of unique responsibilities. Initially, you'll spend 2 weeks learning the tools of being backstage and learning the importance of organization and attention to detail. Then, you'll move on to staging and lighting, where you'll discover how to create the perfect setting and ambiance for each different type of shoot. In the studio phase, you'll assist with shoots and hone your people skills and learn how a studio floor is run. Finally, you'll spend the rest of the internship learning how to work in a busy photography studio like a pro and enjoy workshops and test shoots with our team of professionals.
