Interships, in a way, helps you discover interests and your hidden skills as well. Kaya for those who are planning to do interships, if you really like the things that you do in the company, do your best! Like Nicole said, you could be absorbed by the company and invite you to become part of their workforce if they really liked your performance. Did my internship with Bambike (Notice me Nicole 🍞) in 2018, finished my needed hours after 2 months. Hired me as part time after that, then offered me a regular job after I graduated. 😊
Some fresh graduates when they were asked "why should we hire you?", they would tend to discuss their "skills" yada yada that they are hardworking and so on. The best answer for that is of course, you have to relate your experience from your internship stint to the position that you are applying to. Believe it or not, it would be the same for those people who were "career shifters".
Hi for me. I did my internship this year 2021 when I was in my 1st year. I only did 2 weeks internship then they offered me a regular position. Napakalayo din ng course ko sa work ko. Cuz I'm taking an educ degree then yung work ko is a copywriter/content creator. I learned a lot of skills and earn a lot of experience. For me I really reach out to the company that is not in the Philippines. They pay a lot and it's much more flexible. Now I am a regular employee as a Web builder. My resume is looking good and I can pay the bills na even tho I am still in my sophomore year. I do recommend to do internship as early as you can. 😄

that is true. as an hr intern sometimes it's hard to think about questions or conversation starters when someone's resume is already bland and has few data. so even if i wasn't working as a creatives intern, i made my resume and cv very spicy 🌶️🔥👨🍳👩🍳

Hello ate Nicole!!! Today is my first internship as a 2nd year college student and I just wanna share how you’ve changed my perspective as a whole. Binalikan ko ‘tong vid mo kasi dito nagstart yung eagerness ko na ibuild up yung experiences ko and magtry ng voluntary internships. I admire you so much and I look up to you kasi super hard working mo and you really have plans for your success. Ayun skl super happy ko today since eto yung first internship ko and ikaw yung naging inspiration ko para magtake ng risk. Kaya kahit pagod, at kahit nakakapressure pagsabayin yung acads at work, fulfilled naman yung heart ko kasi I know that I am doing something better. I really hope na magyield ‘to sa future and maging worth it lahat ng pagod ko ngayon. Sabi nga nila, “malayo pa pero malayo na.” I know that every step counts and kahit maliit man yan at least may progress. So yeah, I can say that I am so proud of myself. 💗
The 2 internships I had was for the requirements in our school during senior hs and college days. Watching this video even if I already graduated 😆. “Thank you so much. I'm inspired to look for internships which are related on my interest. Please make more videos about them.” --- my 18-year-old self 😁

As an aspiring software engineer, an internship has always been the way to get absorbed into a company, according to the testimonies of those "who entered the industry without degree. Even those with degree, internship is like the "shortcut" that is a bit long. Pero mas sure kaysa mag job hunting.

currently 30% into my internship right now and it's very e x h a u s t i n g but tbh it's pretty fun. there's something new to learn everyday and although it can get monotonous, it's really up to u to spice up ur work schedule 🐸💗 first few days were hell though but i managed to pick myself up in a week and thrive.

Don't settle for unpaid internships! IDK now but before the pandemic around November 2019, most of us have a salary/allowance of around 275-375 a day (depends on the company) without overtime. And my supervisor told me that before, they don't give salary/allowance so little to no students are applying and if they do, it's a shitty job with little to no work at all. When they change that, so many students are applying now and they do actual company work.

Ganda ng video na to daming matutunan lalo na mga nag aaral ngayon. nung panahon ko di naman uso ganito isang OJT lang pwede na as requirement sa school. Mas okay ung madaming internships dahil it increase the chance of getting a job. Gagamitin ko ung canva para pag nag resign nako at nag apply sa bagong work mas maganda tignan.

Same question! But for me I always search for internship online and sa mga job search sites. The algorithm does its thing where I get advertised posts on my timeline. Last summer, that's how I got my first internship which ended recently. And now I'm currently invited for an interview with another company I applied for. Try looking thru PH job sites like Indeedph! I usually see a lot of opening for accounting students :> Just use keywords like 'accountancy', 'students' or both! Once you open the app/site again using your acc it'll show you new results that contains your keywords :>

Hi! I’m in a bit of a dilemma in accepting a internship offer from a big software company (not going to mention them) kase sa makati pa sila, onsite, mon-fri sched with NO ALLOWANCE. Reason nila here are the perks daw: 200k worth of training program Free lunch Provision of desktop computers (onsite) Ang layo pa ng byahe ko tbh kaya patayan talaga sa pagcommute. Same with my batchmates, 2 hrs na byahe papunta, pauwi. 4 hours in total EVERYDAY. kaya idk if i should accept this kase may chance rin namang ma-absorb ako but no assurance naman yon. Pero big company sila so bat wala silang funds for interns? 😭 Help, tanggapin ko ba? 😭

I, myself, interested with this topic kahit may internship naman na ko 😅😅 to all na naghahanap ng internship, maximize the Facebook Job. I also started trying voluntary internship this year, and now I have 2 internships both flexi-sched at lahat ng internship ko nakuha ko lang sa Facebook Jobs. 😉😉 Sobraaang true din na ang limited ng learnings sa school at redundant pa. That's why if you wanted to explore more lalo na sa digital field, apply for internship tlaga. 💯💪

Same question! But for me I always search for internship online and sa mga job search sites. The algorithm does its thing where I get advertised posts on my timeline. Last summer, that's how I got my first internship which ended recently. And now I'm currently invited for an interview with another company I applied for.
Try looking thru PH job sites like Indeedph! I usually see a lot of opening for accounting students :> Just use keywords like 'accountancy', 'students' or both! Once you open the app/site again using your acc it'll show you new results that contains your keywords :>

Hi! I’m in a bit of a dilemma in accepting a internship offer from a big software company (not going to mention them) kase sa makati pa sila, onsite, mon-fri sched with NO ALLOWANCE.
Reason nila here are the perks daw:

Free lunch
Provision of desktop computers (onsite)
Ang layo pa ng byahe ko tbh kaya patayan talaga sa pagcommute. Same with my batchmates, 2 hrs na byahe papunta, pauwi. 4 hours in total EVERYDAY.
