I love this drama so much. I’m that kind of person that will never rewatch any dramas eventhough I like it so much (like Doctors and Scarlet Heart). But this is my 2nd time watching Mr Sunshine and I still fell in love with it. Nothing can beat Mr. Sunshine and everything about this drama is perfect. From the casts, plots, settings, OSTs. I wish Mr Sunshine get more recognition and appreciation
I want to rewatch but I get flashbacks on that one certain scene. (Hint: Train got separated. If you know what I mean, then you will get it. However, if you don't, then you have to watch the show to know. I cannot spoil anything else!!)
i agree with you. I actually took 2 years to finish this drama and recently i just finished it in year 2020. At first i thought this drama was a bit boring because i dont like any historical drama. The first reason i watch this drama is because i am a big fan of byun yo han and i watched every drama he is in and i can say all of his drama are worth to watch it. But as i go further and deep into Mr Sunshine, i cant help but falling in love about everything in this drama especially the clothes that Yong Hwa always wear. The scenes in this drama so beautiful, Gu Dong Mae that always attract me and of course my Kim Hui Seung. I really cant move on when the drama ends. The ending is really sad ending, i cry when they all died. Really one of the best kdrama i ever watched.

23.11.10 I just finished this drama yesterday for the first time and now I’m watching all the related content and reading discussions online of this show. Mind you I put off this masterpiece for 5 years because I heard it was going to be a sad ending. I was wary of SEs at the time and could only stick to delulu happy-go-luck romcoms. I’m so glad I watched this drama. It’s an understatement to call it a masterpiece because it’s truly the best among the bests in my opinion.
So I just watched Mr. Sunshine and I can say this is by far the best kdrama I’ve watched 🥺 I was surprised on the plot and I fell in love with the characters that made me feel attached to them 🥺 I hope people would watch this drama because it is truly a masterpiece ❤️
유진이랑 애신이랑 걸을때 이 ost나왔을때 너무 어울린다고 생각했는데ㅠㅠㅠ 애절한듯 설레는듯 조심스럽고 복잡하지만 그래도 러브를 하려는 마음을 잘 나타낸 곡이고 수현이랑 너무 어울린다고 생각해서 저번주부터 나오길 기다렸는데ㅠㅠㅠ 진짜 사랑합니다 Nice to know that I"m not the only one who's in love with the song. I think her voice, along with the lyrics, are an accurate representation of the tragic and complex, yet sweet and careful emotion they have towards each other. Suhyun's voice is definitely perfect for this track, and even though Chanhyuk is dearly missed I love her work
THIS SPECIFIC SCENE!!! when eugene offers the ring and marriage certificate to ae shin in the bakery. He wrote LOVE on the flour left on the table, using the ring as the O. As he dragged the ring it spelled out LIVE from LOVE. It was very symbolic because they got married to protect ae shin as they go to japan. Love for eugene is to keep ae shin alive brb im cryin 😭😭

내인생 최애 드라마~~ 도깨비였는데 선샤인보고 바뀜 등장인물마다 각각의 개성을 너무 잘 살렸고 바등쪼도 고가 애신도 생각하면 눈물난다 말로 다 표현 안되는 그 감정선들. 돈 내고 보고 재방할때마다 보고 백번도 넘게 보고 또 봐도 늘 새롭다 대사를 거의 외울정도~~ 이 병헌의 연기는 과히 레전드다
My heart are too hurt to rewatch this drama, its too much for me. After the ending, i cried like crazy. Its was just a drama but its hurt so much. Really well written's drama, very beautiful but heartbreaking at the same time. For anyone who want to start watching this drama, prepare some tissue and a pillow to hug when u want to cry.
I watchd thus drama at the wrong time, that was during pandemic covid with lock down n all. The ending affected my mental somehow. Nobetheless mr sunshine is a masterpiece.
Hands down, one of the best kdrama. The story telling, the character development that will have a deep attachment to the viewer. The ost. The casting. What more can you ask for.
Correct me if I'm wrong but this song appeared first when Ae Shin and Eugene were on boat. At first listen I was like whose voice that could make me feel this way. And it's actually Suhyun. By far one of my faves in this drama OST.
I just finished this drama two days ago, I've been watching dramas for a very long time and for some reason i couldn't watch this drama, but now that I did, it's the best drama ever for me, I thought nothing can compare to the pain Ive felt while watching goblin( which was my fav before this) and scarlet heart ryeo, but I was wrong. This made me cry more than anything, by the time I was at end I was just bawling out. Especially the scene where Eugene is smiling while looking at the photo, that was like arrows shot right at my heart, all of their lover story just plays in your mind. I think from the cinematography, to the storyline, to the acting, it's keeps you so immersed. You can never move ahead from this drama. It's just so beautiful.
It took 5 years for me to recovery from heart pain Reply1988. I didn't watch any drama since 2016 after Reply 1988. But damn! Mr. Sunshine successfully made me torn apart again at late December 2020. I don't know when i'll be able to watch any drama again. Bcs Mr Sunshine & Reply1988 are the best. From cinematography, stories, actors, & osts. But Mr. Sunshine was more superior bcs many actors were from "A list actors"
Im the type of viewer that stops watching when i dont feel the story but this kdrama made me curious as every episode ends. I dont like cliche and predictable plots. But this drama is different. This is the drama that i felt genuine romance, agony, and patriotism. All the characters gave justice to their role. This is by far my most favorite kdrama. I dont know what, but Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae Ri has this looks in their eyes that will make you immersed and feel like you are in that moment. They are such talented actor/ actress. All in all, this is worth it.

I just finished this drama yesterday for the first time and now I’m watching all the related content and reading discussions online of this show. Mind you I put off this masterpiece for 5 years because I heard it was going to be a sad ending. I was wary of SEs at the time and could only stick to delulu happy-go-luck romcoms. I’m so glad I watched this drama. It’s an understatement to call it a masterpiece because it’s truly the best among the bests in my opinion.

So I just watched Mr. Sunshine and I can say this is by far the best kdrama I’ve watched 🥺 I was surprised on the plot and I fell in love with the characters that made me feel attached to them 🥺 I hope people would watch this drama because it is truly a masterpiece ❤️

유진이랑 애신이랑 걸을때 이 ost나왔을때 너무 어울린다고 생각했는데ㅠㅠㅠ 애절한듯 설레는듯 조심스럽고 복잡하지만 그래도 러브를 하려는 마음을 잘 나타낸 곡이고 수현이랑 너무 어울린다고 생각해서 저번주부터 나오길 기다렸는데ㅠㅠㅠ 진짜 사랑합니다
Nice to know that I"m not the only one who's in love with the song. I think her voice, along with the lyrics, are an accurate representation of the tragic and complex, yet sweet and careful emotion they have towards each other. Suhyun's voice is definitely perfect for this track, and even though Chanhyuk is dearly missed I love her work

My heart are too hurt to rewatch this drama, its too much for me. After the ending, i cried like crazy. Its was just a drama but its hurt so much. Really well written's drama, very beautiful but heartbreaking at the same time. For anyone who want to start watching this drama, prepare some tissue and a pillow to hug when u want to cry.

I watchd thus drama at the wrong time, that was during pandemic covid with lock down n all. The ending affected my mental somehow. Nobetheless mr sunshine is a masterpiece.

Hands down, one of the best kdrama. The story telling, the character development that will have a deep attachment to the viewer. The ost. The casting. What more can you ask for.
Correct me if I'm wrong but this song appeared first when Ae Shin and Eugene were on boat. At first listen I was like whose voice that could make me feel this way. And it's actually Suhyun. By far one of my faves in this drama OST.

I just finished this drama two days ago, I've been watching dramas for a very long time and for some reason i couldn't watch this drama, but now that I did, it's the best drama ever for me, I thought nothing can compare to the pain Ive felt while watching goblin( which was my fav before this) and scarlet heart ryeo, but I was wrong. This made me cry more than anything, by the time I was at end I was just bawling out. Especially the scene where Eugene is smiling while looking at the photo, that was like arrows shot right at my heart, all of their lover story just plays in your mind. I think from the cinematography, to the storyline, to the acting, it's keeps you so immersed. You can never move ahead from this drama. It's just so beautiful.

It took 5 years for me to recovery from heart pain Reply1988. I didn't watch any drama since 2016 after Reply 1988. But damn! Mr. Sunshine successfully made me torn apart again at late December 2020. I don't know when i'll be able to watch any drama again. Bcs Mr Sunshine & Reply1988 are the best. From cinematography, stories, actors, & osts. But Mr. Sunshine was more superior bcs many actors were from "A list actors"

Im the type of viewer that stops watching when i dont feel the story but this kdrama made me curious as every episode ends. I dont like cliche and predictable plots. But this drama is different. This is the drama that i felt genuine romance, agony, and patriotism. All the characters gave justice to their role. This is by far my most favorite kdrama. I dont know what, but Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae Ri has this looks in their eyes that will make you immersed and feel like you are in that moment. They are such talented actor/ actress. All in all, this is worth it.
