This is my favorite sprouting mix! I usually sprout enough for a week, so eventually a lot of the smaller seeds do sprout later but maybe not all of them. I don’t like their psittacine sprouting mix as much because the chickpeas don’t sprout and end up going bad instead.
Mantap burung burung nya. ..
I use China Prairie and certain seeds don’t sprout for me either so I think they may just be ones that soak! I also use their freeze dried chop for dinner and my birds love it.
Good to know!
I will try sprouting again with specific mix. Thanks
This is something I want to try with my budgies. My Quakers aren't too picky except they like variety but budgies... thanks so much 😊
Hi, How many times do we need to feed parrotlets.could you please share the schedule if you have any?
I live in an area with high humidity and worry about mildew. I just bought some grape seed extract so can you suggest how much and how often to use it? I have never sprouted before. Thanks! 😊
Honestly everyone does it drastically differently! Some people will only use the extract for the initial soak of the seeds, others put it in a mister and spritz the seeds with it every now and then, and others will add a drop of the extract every time they rinse. It generally seems like a trial by error system.
I’ve personally never used it, the generally recommended dosage appears to be 1tbsp GSE per gallon of water though!
I use 5-6 drops per litre in the initial soak, and the same ratio for a 15 minute soak every time i rinse, 2-3 times daily.
