Tbf, thats most characters. Combos are the only time you get free damage, might as well make the most of it.
@@mallows9779 But Lee has overall less damage, very tight pickups, inconsistent wall-carry and not good frames. DJs combos reach almost 90 and are laughable while we struggling to get 70.
@@tzitzitzitzi1584 optimized Lee combos can easily reach 80-90 what are you talking about. DVJ also has combos that only barely reach 70. I feel like you're just cherry picking specific combos from each character.
@@mallows9779 You are talking about CH combos while I am talking about normal combos. Also, DJs combos are way easier, making his combos more consistent. Lee's combos require b2 loops that are not consistent (if you want them to be optimal as you said). If you have wall, DJ goes to 100s without rage while lee needs the slow ass lunchers to get there like blazing kick or full crouch to uf4. He get nerf on infinite stages and his best lunchers are CH. DJ for example had his hellsweep gives him a full combo. Lee needs a ch D3 and and a strict pickup to even get a combo. His lows are bad and overall very weak character. I wish they'd buff him in T8 coz he isn't gonna be in tournaments any time soon.
@@tzitzitzitzi1584 B2 loops? Not consistent? What are you a green rank? DVJ is ass right now, arguably the worst mishima right now. The only way DVJ gets to 100 damage is through a ch big launcher or with rage. I main Lee too, and there's a bevy of combos that can easily boost his damage to 80-90 damage consistently.
All i'm getting at is that the only time you get free damage is in a juggle so might as well optimize it. Like how cbm always does the hard micro dash ws4 pickup off of a ch electric with Jin just to get like a 1-3 damage difference. Stop glazing Lee as this absurdly hard must be optimized character when he's borderline as cheap with all the keepout and evasive bullshit.
Just when you thought lee couldnt require more skill to use...
Now i feel more overwhelmed by that fact...

Yeah I just wished he did go more in depth with how to actually land the b1 because I can't land it even if I spam the b1😢
@@nahref99 no no u can’t it’s basically impossible with spam. After a lil bit of practice I figured it out. The back button is so easily triggered on pad especially right and trying to press back and 1 at the same time will have one frame earlier the back input come out first. You basically have to consciously try to press one first then press back to hit it on the same frame. Hope this helps 🙏🏾

Actually you can hit 4 b4s but you have to time the screw(f4,1) similar to the acid storm combo with the ender f2,1 when you do 3b2
And no you don't have to step a bit to the right to make it work but it only works on some characters I think (heihachi for example works)

In the b2 loop fail examples, wouldn't f4,1 work instead of ws2,4? Would the damage be lower than b1:1fn ws2,4?

i saw imyourfather once do f,n 3 4, 4u3 then 4b2 loops into f41, o tried it in practice and got it like twice in 70 tries, is it maybe bcs the 4th b2 was just frame ?

Says 68 because your not doing b1:1f your doing b11f, that gives less dmg

@@voltreo well it’s just the normal b112 timing that you do for the just frame knock down, but cancelling it into miststep instead
@@Miirio I always thought that my combo dealing 68 dmg and sometimes 69 must be a glitch. I use a my own method for B1,1,2 JF than the conventional method perhaps that's why I get 68 dmg most of the time. Thanks anyway, mayne. 🌹

This just frame is almost impossible on pad, I've only ever done it once, otherwise it just fails everytime for me. It must be easier stick I assume, everyone I've seen do this has done it on stick. Either way, if you can do this, it's definitely something you should do.
Get rid of this mod, its trash and annoying. Doesnt fit lee
