I started posting content in 2015--raw and unedited, and I have learned so much by watching and listening...definitely makes me cringe often, even still. I have improved quite a bit in three years, and finally feel over the performance anxiety I used to have. The last year I have gotten to sing with several new groups of really great musicians, so recording and posting --holding myself publically accountable--has really helped me in tangent ways too.
This was very valuable I love this kind of self and relationship insights. I now better understand others and myself. With these tools I can better coach others to reach their goals! Upholders delegate Obliges give accountability Questioner associate action with fixing a problem and give them the the info Rebel discipline and plan. Took the quiz and OFCOURSE I came out as rebel! Then I say well "I'm not limited by it" then I realized that's exactly what a rebel would say lol Curious for others to post theirs too!
I just opened a fortune cookie saying, "Only your expectations can slow you down." And then I saw this in my UA-cam feed this morning. What is going on here?
Usually people talk more about their books here. On this episode Lewis you seemed to ask only questions that you needed to answers for not about the stuff that would be helpful for general audience.

Enjoyed listening...However, I don’t believe you are born with your personality. I believe your personality is formed based off your experiences that can trigger some not necessarily all genetic predispositions as experiences vary and everyones reaction to the same experience can be completely different. I think the attachment a mother develops with her child is crucial to how we deal with certain experiences, whether it is a secure, ambivalent or avoidant. All these developments occur in the first five years of your life. After the age of five, I believe that yes, I agree it can be hard to change ones personality but with a strong sense of self awareness, self efficacy and cognitive behavioural activities I think you can change learned behaviours (habits as Gretchen uses to describe them) that can develop unconsciously and consciously. I also feel like you are jot necessarily one tendency she describes. Anyways, I was very interested as I it focuses on what I studied, Psychology. I love learning, tracking patterns of why people do the things they do.
I agree with you that I also think personality can develop over time based on life experiences. If you are born and never triggered, which of course is not possible, you'll remain the same person, else people change and adapt their personality.
She is a questioner for sure according to her own system. You can here it when she talks. She is also just not honest i think that is why she is dishonest with herself and therefore misdiagnosing herself with the test she created.

Doesn’t Joe Dispensa’s stuff disagree with her about not being able to change personality or who you are?
