I’ve been wanting to paint my grandparent’s old barn. This looks like it except my barn is in a spot where there is just a sliver of sky as it’s overshadowed by a large hill with thick trees. Thank you so much for this!

Another outstanding job! Makes me want to paint the barn in my yard. It takes a lot of practice to get the depth and realism you achieve. Mine tend to look like something a grade schooler would paint, lol

He used quite a bit of retarder in the white for the sky. Also maybe try using soft body acrylics. They should flow better than the thicker heavy bodied paints.

What is the paper that you use on your pallet? It seems like it is water resistant. My pallet is a poly cutting board but the rigidness of it makes it hard to mix my paint and it drys really quick.. Thanks.
i have grease proof baking paper over my pallet here

What brand is the grey paint you are using? I mainly use Atelier Interactive but don’t see that colour in the range?
i use atelier, some places i found have colors other places dont, office works sell atelier paints
Could you explain VALUE(S) while you're painting? I for one don't understand it!! Please help? Thank you so much!
no problem, but just so you know values are amounts of something like if i have a green paint and want to change it value then i will change the color to a lighter or darker value (amount)

This is great! I’m a beginner to acrylics , well painting in general. Can you tell me what is flow white? Can you buy it or do you mix it up? Also, what is retardant?
