    Totally wrong. Just replaced the same RS1 thermostat. 3 (yellow in this case) to NO (bottom left) Live to COM ( 3rd from bottom left) Any others to 'park' in any of the 3 spare terminals on right side of left hand block. So in this case ignore the 3 terminals on far right.

    We have just into a home with a tado and I cant find the QR code, I've checked the connected to the boiler, checked the bridge but no where. Would anyone know where to find it?

    someone from british gas has been naughty using a twin and earth on that roomstat when it should be a three core and earth, terminals 1 is neutral terminal 2 is live terminal 3 has a sleeved earth being used as a switch wire to call the boiler, tut tut if thats the case the video showing the tado being wired up is wrong.only connections should be made on the tado are live from boiler to terminal 3 (com) and switch wire to boiler terminal 1 (no) redundant neutral should be connected to terminal 4. nothing should be connected to the 35 volt digital bus like its shown in the video.

      Have they just wired the 230V live feed into the low voltage analogue side of the Tado? I have this old British Gas thermostat and it's mains powered!

      @@abdulsaeed2 well for a start live and neutral are the wrong way round
