hahaha so funny. have you ever checked out anything for yourself?! all he does is copy pics from PCGS or NGC and make a video, thats not awesome that is lazy and uneducational for newbies. he only shows rare errors that 99% of people or more will never ever see or find. these are not common errors he is just looking for views
@wildedaveable you don't have to be a hater because you didn't do it first. I have been watching Justin for years and find him very informative. I've learned a lot from him. You don't like him or what he does, you don't have to watch.
I like your voice. There are videos on UA-cam I've desperately wanted to watch but I couldn't stand to hear them talk!!! You just keep doing what you do. I could listen to you all day...and have, actually❤
WOW!!! You have shared the most helpful information for me in learning and understanding how and what to look for in understanding old wheat pennies and their value. I had no idea how to research all of this and I can't thank you enough!! Really appreciate the helpful information along with actually SHOWING THE PROCESS.
I've been holding on to two 1909s and one 1909s vdb all three were handed down to me in really great condition 25+yrs ago from my grandfather ... I'm just a silver stacker and curious if it's worth getting the pennies graded or just keep it in the safe because I have no intentions on selling just handing down everything to my two nieces 9 and 11 when they get older they can sell if they choose
OH WOW, PLEASE HAVE PCGS GRADE & ENCAPSULATE YOUR 1909-S VDB & 1909-S!!! It is absolutely worth having them graded as they are ideal candidates. Especially, if they are in good condition as you mentioned. The encapsulation will protect your coins and having PCGS grade your coins will significantly increase your already very valuable coins. Are they still considered Red in color? As in, what a shiny new penny tends to look like. Or is it mostly brown or all brown? Just curious. A coin can still receive a Mint State grade if it is all brown as long as it is in Excellent Condition.
UA-cam channel coin help u has a good video to help decide when to send off for grading or when to keep. My opinion is as well known as those are you probably don't need them graded, just securely stored. Respect for passing the coins down that's what my main intention is with - to send it down too great-great grandchildren. I keep thinking like how cool it would be if somebody related to me back in 1820 and decided to seal up a bunch of money for time capsule.
@@jasongelb6745 I had a coin guy look at them yesterday and he said they should definitely grade red and was amazed at the condition and gave me an offer that was very tempting but nah I'm going to send in to PCGS

Thanks for the lesson. I learned a lot. I have a lot of old coins, rolls and rolls, that were left to me back in 2000, but I never knew where to start. It's not like I would ever sell any, if they turned out to be valuable, it would just be nice to know. Guess I need to get to work...
I haven't been collecting long. But I have a 1969,1950 and 1949 All S mint pennies. I got a few 1944 pennies,no mint and D mint. I think the oldest penny I have is a 1941. Same with 1941 nickel. I know your not supposed to clean your coins but I'd me clean magic eraser sponge ok? As I sit here I am literally holding a 1985D penny in my hand that I swear looks as good or better than the one that was graded at ms69, short of sending it in to be graded, which I know could cost much more than the penny is worth, how can I know what it might be worth???
I'm an old coin collector and I'm going to be honest with you . To get a coin to grade that high it needs to come out of a U S mint uncirculated set . If it has been handled or been in a roll then it will not grade that high . To give you a better idea the untouched uncirculated 1985D set sells for around $15.00 on E-Bay . Almost none of these coins would grade a MS69 . It is just that hard to get one graded that high .
