I downloaded this video a couple years ago, I didn't find it on youtube anymore so I share it with you guys, hope you like it!, Vinnie Vincent Invasion - That Time Of Year with better quality.
This whole album is drastically underrated. Mark Slaughter just killed it with the vocals.

Regardless of all the rumors ,drama and b.s. surrounding the Vinnie's life since KISS... I'm thankful for his music after KISS. It never would've been made had he stayed in KISS. Robert Fleischman and Mark Slaughter were excellent on each of their albums. Thanks for the music Vinnie. The 80's rocked!

You might hate him but the truth is Vinnie is a very underrated talented musician, he deserves more recognition but he himself had ruined it , it seems.

Great band - Great song! Vinnie sure had an ear for melodies, and this is one of his best! Mark Slaughter shines here on vocals. What a voice he had in his youth! 👍👏🎸
I got this cd when it came out, but it didn't really grab me. now that i'm 45, this is one of the best fucking songs i've ever heard.

If I recall correctly, Mark sent a demo tape without any contact info beyond the name on it. So they went ahead and recorded the first album with another singer. Until they were able to reach him and replace the current singer with him. Then he recorded the second album. The band disbanded before recording a third album. The Mark, along with the bassist Dana Strum, formed Slaughter.

Whether people like Vinnie or not i like it so much, cos his handwork is so amazing. This song still rock in 2020 December, its so nice to listen to it when Sun slowly goes down. Winter is the best time to listen to this songs.

Had this on cassette (remember those?) back in the late 1980s when I was 12-13 years old and my life was changed forever as a kid in the 80s dreaming of one day making music with this kind of emotion and dramatic, haunting impact. Mark and Robert both absolutely killed the vocals on those two albums, but All Systems Go may have even surpassed the debut. Question- was Vinnie sincere in his life outside music and is all we hear just rumors? If someone knows why his track record is so bad tell me. Going back to Treasure he was one of the greatest guitarists of all time. That Time Of Year- for me my time is Winter.
All Systems Go is a fantastic metal album all the way through. Love Kills and Ashes to Ashes being my favs.

Mark & Dana both really kill this song and by kill I don’t mean it in a bad way. Mark is a great singer and yeah Vinnie was obviously jealous no question there. Dana really makes the bass sound really awesome to this song. ❤
I saw Vinnie open for Iron Maiden in Austin back in 86. Somewhere in Time / Invasion tours.
That must have been amazing! I would have loved to see Vinnie and Dana Strum playin live! This song has one of the best bass lines and I just can't find proper bass tabs for this song.

Rumors say he was extremely difficult to work with, and even more difficult to be seen in public with. He lacked basic social skills it seems and became the source of ridicule and amusement when out in the real world.

Yeah he was/is just a weirdo frankly--probably a psychological condition of some sort. So he had very real talent but couldn't capitalize on his talents because of his personality issues. And you can really see in a song like this that he could actually play quite tastefully--but most of the time he felt the need to play senselessly fast.

O, i am soooo lucky to have grown up in the 80's as a teenager...Would never want to trade with anybody born after that to be honest. Even considering this song sucks balls, but still..;)

It was Vinnie that made the LP Lick it up like it was. Best one Kiss ever did. All hell breaking loose, Lick it up, fits like a glove and more.

I'm glad Vinnie hired Bobby on drums and recommended Gregg Bissonette to audition for DLR. Gregg has gone on to bigger and better things.

That's fantastic, 2 simple appregiated chords, then gets more complex in the arrangement, but keeps coming back to the that simple pattern. The vocal composition is great and obviously he kicks it.

Vocals sounds like Robin McCauley, from McCauley Schenker Group, which was a great group. If you are into guitar and know who Jose Arredondo is, Schenker's sound was unbelievable. I saw them live at cap center in MD with those modded Marshalls, best sound I ever heard.
BTW, Vincent was kind of a jerk, so they say.
