Not a mom, but I have also been trying to prioritize my self care! You inspired me to chop off my hair I’ve been growing out since quarantine lol. Love the content Sarah and your hair is fabulous!!
Motherhood looks wonderful on you! Kudos to you for remembering to put in time for self-care. It's so hard for us moms to put ourselves to the side. I love a makeup / skincare / haircare product refresh too - makes me feel like a new person!! 🥰
I LOVE hearing Fern in the background! Such a little cutie 🥰 And I love seeing new moms find themselves again! Being a mom to a baby is like being on a roller coaster while tripping on acid! Hardest time of my life both times I had babies in my household! One day very soon you will spend 30 min putting your makeup on and wonder what your child has been up to…then go and find her and she’s playing quietly ☺️ Just happened to me this morning! I was so shocked that my house was still in tact 😂 It gets better, my love. It gets so so so much better ❤
Been following you for YEARS now and always thought you were beautiful. But you seriously get even more gorgeous as you're getting older ✨️ I'm manifesting that kind of evolution for myself 🤞🏻
The about face eye paints are amazing! They’re so fun to mix and they literally last forever which does make them a little difficult to remove so I recommend using a cleansing balm or an oil to remove them
I have that same Makeup Revolution palette! The colors are SO fun - I adore the light greens. Your hair looks amazing and you look so comfortable in your skin and confident.
Your hair is gorgeous! I absolutely adore your natural hair colour too. I chopped mine off after my daughter was born. You just don't have the energy to maintain healthy long hair when you have a baby. So glad you love it!
Your hair looks so good! Im about to go get my first post partum haircut and I want something like yours. How did you explain or describe what you wanted to your hairdresser? I would like to ask for the same 😅
Also suggestion from a new mom here🖐️ (not sure if you're into these but): you could never go wrong with a good linen maxi/midi skirt. It would tie in with your crop tops perfectly! And you could also use it during fall with some docs, and layer it. You look amazing Sarah. 😍
Cutting my hair off was one of the first things I did after I had my son. Literally felt like weight lifted off my shoulders and I finally felt like myself again. You look great Sarah, Fern's words of encouragement are so adorable.
For the people like me that like their brows done but don’t have the time: dye them, it looks really nice and takes only a few minutes every few weeks 💁🏻♀️
For the people who don’t want to dye them every now and then - do a permanent micro blading, that was the best spent money and decision in my life I swear 😅 about five years have passed and I’m still super happy !
I cut my previously long hair into a blunt bob (mum here too) and it felt kinda liberating, long hair can be so impractical for me at times 😂 you look stunning
As another mama, I just want to say how proud you should be of yourself and how proud I am of you. Taking care of yourself is such a struggle for new moms, especially new moms and as someone who it took years to find myself again, I am super proud of you. Your hair cut is SO damn cute and I love the way you style it, even before styling it with makeup and clothes, it's giving 2000's vibes and I am obsessed. I love your glow up! You look great and you look happy and that's what truly matters. I think the hair was my favorite! I think it looks like a shot of overall energy into you. :) My very simplified makeup routine is as follows: sunscreen always, a little powder on my cheeks, blush, double mascara and a fun lip color. I wear funky glasses basically everyday so I don't do much with my eyes anymore and I have yet to find a concealer/foundation combo that looks good on me, no matter what I start with, it always looks like garbage, so I just skip it. My staples for clothes are either skirt and a graphic tee shirt, or a dress, depending on the weather with a cardigan. I have also really gotten into layering dresses over each other, so button up or wrap dresses over shorter dresses has been my obsession (I blame the cute wrap dress I found in Paris that doesn't fit as a wrap, but looks hell cute with other dresses) all with bike shorts underneath. I also have to combat with the weather and not overheat.
I would LOVE to see a closet clearout/organisation video! They're always so satisfying to watch and I love home content. You are one babe of a mum, btw.
so glad you’re taking some time for yourself! you look amazing! i would love an updated skincare routine. i’ve been struggling with my skin so much recently and would love to see what products you enjoy 💛
Hi there. I've been using the clinique 3 step skincare routine since I was a teenager. I am now 45 and am constantly being told how amazing my skin looks. 😊
I followed your makeup and horror videos for years but dropped off after having my first daughter in 2021 (mom life is hectic). This video popped up on my recommended, and I'm so happy to see you're doing well! I'm currently pregnant with our second, and I definitely relate to feeling the need to put some effort in myself but also being so busy with life. Love the haircut!
I absolutely love and appreciate yooou didn't do a huge clothing haul but took what you have and spruced it up. I am currently trying to heal from a compulsive shopping habit. And so I need more channels like yours to help me through. You look incredible 😍
Hello! I am also a 33 year old Mom, but my baby is now 18 months. I totally hear you when you say you need a little makeover. Its so important for us moms to feel HUMAN! like you said its easy to lose yourself. I just wanted to say, keep it up, do your self care, feel better, and you look absolutely amazing!
Every few months I either get a new piercing or new haircut to feel new. As a mom of one and done and giving my all to my two year old it is very hard to give myself my all. I’ll be 31 this year in a new state so not having friends has been hard too. But I got a new job and can start feeling like myself again and having my own identity outside of being a mom. You are doing a great job!
Love love love!!! Also I’m and esthetician and yes love that you are wearing a spf even if you’re inside 🥹😍 (we need HEV blue light protection now 🫠) you are one rocking mama!!
Girl I feel you. My baby is 10 weeks and I’m ready to get myself together again 😂. Postpartum is wild. I just really want to prioritize jeans shopping. The old jeans don’t fit and I’m so tired of only stretchy pants! (Never thought I’d say that) 😂
Omg I’m obsessed with the about face eye paint in the shade “Hidden Garden”. It’s advertised as a dark grey but on pale girls like ourselves it is the most incredible, unique greenish-grey.
I have the blonde "disappearin brows" too. I find they only look good in their natural state when I have platinum blonde hair. Light brown/taupe eyebrows would look far better than blonde eyebrows that disappear on your face with your current (natural?) hair colour.
Just please make sure not to use the glycolic acid daily. Once to twice a week is enough! And please do not forget to hydrate your skin with a water-based serum before your moisturizer in the evening and your sunscreen in the morning. Also, please please please, (!) daily (!) sunscreen is a must with active ingredients like acids! ☺
I’m kinda late here I know but this was such a lovely video!! I’ve followed you for years and I’m so proud of you for how you’ve grown🖤 Also, just a suggestion, have you heard of the dr jart green colour correcting pot? I love it bc it feels so light on the skin and it really is your skin but better
I like the new cut! I have hair about as long as yours as before and it’s “virgin” hair after growing out my natural. I figured I’d dye it again when I start greying eventually but save the money and products for now. lol Unfortunately, my texture is terrible and I get these awful tangled knots all the time so I’m always losing chunks. Thinking of a cut too.
So funny I had blonde hair forever was always on top of going to the salon and now after 3 years postpartum I have my natural hair and I love it! I went from full glam makeup to easy 15 min bb cream, stick blush, lol eyeshadow tip wing instead of full wing and mascara. I will say I wish I would of prioritized my self a lot more around 6 to 7 months in because that’s when I felt my lowest but I ironically loved that age the most. I would have pictures taken with my daughter around that time and felt so depressed after. After one year I started feeling better. It’s funny cause u think the changes are permanent like weight and the way my stomach never shrunk back but after breastfeeding it’s gone down a lot. I miss the way I used to look at times but I try to find a lil edge that I can with my more plan mom looks now. It’s hard to articulate all the feelings. 😅
love your videos :) i recommend tinting your eyebrows, it was a game changer for me with light eyebrows. i use one that lasts about six weeks but it is a swedish product, i don't know what you have in the US.
It may be wasting space to hang baby’s clothes. You may have better luck having a little set of draws or cubbies since her clothing is so small and that way you have room for you!
show us the eye paints!! i also live in leggings and i need a structured leisure pant soooo badly for the office. need to explore some styles me thinks
I really like the haircut!!!! You keep tucking your hair behind your ears so it might just be a habit but also maybe consider getting long face framing layers in the front to thin out the strands that keep getting in front of your face
Fern coming through with the encouragement for mom 💁♀️
I love how happy Fern sounds in the background all the time 🥹💖
You look amazing before and after! But it's really clear you were enjoying putting on makeup and playing with clothes. This was a great video, Sarah 😊
Yesss pls do a closet clean out video!
Not a mom, but I have also been trying to prioritize my self care! You inspired me to chop off my hair I’ve been growing out since quarantine lol. Love the content Sarah and your hair is fabulous!!
Your ‘glow up’ is fantastic - your hair looks amazing! 😊
Motherhood looks wonderful on you! Kudos to you for remembering to put in time for self-care. It's so hard for us moms to put ourselves to the side. I love a makeup / skincare / haircare product refresh too - makes me feel like a new person!! 🥰
P.S. Your new haircut looks amazing!!!
I love your hair like that Sarah!! And yes, please to the closet makeover!!
I LOVE hearing Fern in the background! Such a little cutie 🥰 And I love seeing new moms find themselves again! Being a mom to a baby is like being on a roller coaster while tripping on acid! Hardest time of my life both times I had babies in my household! Your hair looks amazing!!! Love this for you
Been following you for YEARS now and always thought you were beautiful. But you seriously get even more gorgeous as you're getting older ✨️ I'm manifesting that kind of evolution for myself 🤞🏻
You should get some of those comfy oversized overall things I’ve been send all over tiktok! They look SO COMFY & are SO CUTE
bangs would look great with that short hair!!!
so good seeing u again sarah! the hair looks great!
I love the new hair on you. It takes me back to the days when you would hang with Sarah #2 ❤
do you know what happened to Sarah 2?
oh no i hoped you would film the actual cutting it off part too 🥲😂
Your hair is gorgeous! I absolutely adore your natural hair colour too. I chopped mine off after my daughter was born. You just don't have the energy to maintain healthy long hair when you have a baby. So glad you love it!
You’re amazing Sarah! I’m not even a mom nor do i plan to be but I love watching your videos, I could listen to you talk all day.
The hair cut fits you SO well, beautiful inside and out!
Oh this video feels like home, the NOSTALGIA. Also, thank u for keeping it real
"I don't feel like myself and I need to cut my hair off" lmao
Charlotte Tilbury is Leaping Bunny-certified crueltyfree ! Legit ❤
Came here to comment this as well 😊
Wow you really look beautiful even when you are “not trying “ just that clip with the low ponytail and the glasses . Really cute 🥰
Love the hair so much! You got this mumma Sarah
Your hair looks so good! Im about to go get my first post partum haircut and I want something like yours. How did you explain or describe what you wanted to your hairdresser? I would like to ask for the same 😅
You look so gorgeous!!! Yesss horror mom!
Love the new hair. Your natural colour is lovely.
lovely as ever 💚💗
You look amazing! You might be convincing me to cut my hair lol
Love the big chop !!💇♀️
I would recommend using a second cleanser after that squalane cleanser if you have the time and are acne prone
Sarah you look gorgeous!
I'm here for a closet make over 😊
Wheres the bag from? ❤
❤
Love it
I've been working on body care. So can be more approachable.
Hey it's marquis
Also suggestion from a new mom here🖐️ (not sure if you're into these but): you could never go wrong with a good linen maxi/midi skirt. It would tie in with your crop tops perfectly! And you could also use it during fall with some docs, and layer it. You look amazing Sarah. 😍
love this idea!!
❤

Dyeing them doesn't work for people who don't have a lot of eyebrow hair 🤷♀️
@@mars7612 That’s true. Going for natural brows or micro blading would be the better option there
@@SweetChipmunktheFirst I'm aware
My son (15 mo) heard Fern at the beginning of the video and told her hi 🥰
your new hair is throwing me back to 2014-2015ish when you last had short brown hair! the tumblr eraaa
The hair cut is so super cute!! 🥺🫶
I cut my previously long hair into a blunt bob (mum here too) and it felt kinda liberating, long hair can be so impractical for me at times 😂 you look stunning
Soo cute! You look soo beautiful, I loveee your fit at the end with the bag. The haircut looks amazinggg! You are glowing ✨ thank you for this video!
Maybe mid- length hair instead of short hair? Thanks for posting! 🎉

Don’t worry about Charlotte Tilbury stuff. It’s a cruelty-free brand. The Sephora in-house brand, however, is not :(
I love your new hair, by the way!
the hair is rockin!!!
Love the hair and the final look! It’s fresh.
love everything about the transformation! But especially that you look more confident. 💚 (Loooove the baggu in Avocado)
Loving the glow up! You look great 😊. You look so happy! Your hair looks amazing ❤
I love how honest you are about your reality, thank you

I was thinking after your haircut that I really like your light brows with your natural hair colour so I’m glad you don’t fill them in!! Super cute

this was nice to watch, kinda brings back memories of your 2014-15 videos.. cant believe it's been that long ago T_T

Love the New Mom Glow-up. But, my favorite part was you sitting on the floor cropping the tee with scissors. Throwback Sarah moment!ღ
that haircut and color….. SO beautiful!! i gotta say the lavender you had years ago suited you SO well. maybe go for that once you get bored again….

I don’t know if anyone has mentioned this but Charlotte Tilbury is cruelty free.
love your videos :)
i recommend tinting your eyebrows, it was a game changer for me with light eyebrows. i use one that lasts about six weeks but it is a swedish product, i don't know what you have in the US.
I swear by The Ordinary glycolic acid. I stopped using it for a lil bit and almost immediately noticed a difference in skin texture.
I didn’t know you had a baby! Belated congratulations! ❤
It may be wasting space to hang baby’s clothes. You may have better luck having a little set of draws or cubbies since her clothing is so small and that way you have room for you!

I really like the haircut!!!! You keep tucking your hair behind your ears so it might just be a habit but also maybe consider getting long face framing layers in the front to thin out the strands that keep getting in front of your face
Love the black pants. Does old navy still carry them? Do you have a link?
Whether or not you view this as a compliment, I thought you were like 27 lol.
Love the hair and the makeup look!!! That lip colour is great on you!
You could use a dab of the darker concealer and some of your very pale concealer and mix and see if that is closer to your skin tone!
My favorite part of the transformation is how it refreshed your spirit! You are glowing in that after shot!! So cute
totally fair to still skip it bc it’s expensive but charlotte tillbury is actually cruelty free. it’s one of the few luxury brands that it!
omg yes!! bring back some decluttering videos
Cute all around! Love seeing your journey as someone who plans to have a kid in the next few years.
Babe, our closets could be the same! But please drop the shoe shelf you have in the comments! That would save so much space for me!!
I don't want to start anything in a bad way, but If you gave yourself curtain bangs and curled your bob after, you would look so good
I’m 8 months PP and haven’t done this for myself yet. Thank you for the inspiration to get back to myself! 💚
lipliner and blending in is so smart, i have sensory issues too so thats a v useful tip 😊😊
