I purchased the 2025 HRV NORDIC GREEN EXL AWD wonderful Vehicle 🚗 very comfortable on long Time I just took a 700 Mile trip it got 30 miles per gallon . We also own a 2023 Honda Pilot EXL AWD as well wonderful vehicle known for Reliability .These Vehicles will last a very long time long time just got rid of a 2005 Honda Pilot over 300,000 miles it was fantastic air conditioning still blew ice 🧊 cold . Anyone buys a HRV won’t be disappointed with EXL model all leather power drivers seat and Sunroof.

I agree I picked out 2024 HR-V EX-L AWD Modern Steel Metallic with Grey interior for sister last month. She wanted something new. But she's still keeping her 2007 Ridgeline Pickup Truck 235,000 miles on it. When we went to dealership few months ago to help her grown son get new vehicle. This was 2024 Honda Civic Sport Hatchback CVT. Sister said she wanted something new to keep miles off aged Ridgeline.
So we sold some property and are able to buy much needed new vehicles.
My nephew's car was 15yrs old I told him don't put any money into it. So he got new car paid for in his name. Sister has 2007 Ridgeline so she needed something new.
My 2000 Acura TL has just 108,000 miles on it. I would drive Ridgeline when I traveled.
So I will be getting 2025 Pilot Elite soon. I always had Honda vehicles since 1980.
But HR-V EX-L has everything Sister needs. She already put 3500 miles on it.

Honda should put the civic hybrid engine and e-cvt transmission in the hr-v. Also rear a/c vents and usb charge
ports and this cuv would be perfect. 👍🏾

@@21PiloteerWhy do such basic features and functions for a vehicle always have to be costlier?
"Honda means reliable" yeah because of the lack of so many important features like a damn rear AC blower and even just a simple damn cup holder.
If you define reliability by not having any features and functionalities at all, then it's NOT reliable; it's just playing it safe and being SCARED to fail.
Hyundai might not be as reliable as the Japanese brands yet, but huge props to them for TRYING and IMPROVING every iteration. Time will come and reliability would never have to be at the expense of lackluster set of features and functions and practicality from the scammers in Japan.

I own the 2024 HR-V for having just moved to Alaska. Gotta say, it does excellent for what we need. Pothole ridden gravel roads are the norm here, and it does excellent. Back when we had it in the city the acceleration was a bit weak, but I'm not a fan of SUV's having too quick acceleration; these things are tanks and battering rams for pedestrians and smaller cars. The 2.0L Engine isn't quick, but doesn't feel like it's ever struggling. Carving through the mountains and hills, this thing does just fine. The AWD system works well, gets us up some hills and nasties just fine.
Sure there's more off-road vehicles out there, but for the price point, this thing does EXACTLY what we need it to here in Alaska. Only thing I'd say is that the stock tires don't work great in the snow, but I have some Studded tires for my second set. Love the HR-V, definitely recommend. Especially in delicious Milano red.

Last year in 23, I was looking to trade my 20 Fit EX as I had 8200.00 equity toward a new car. I wanted a 23 Accord EX. In Texas, my car insurance was going up 445.00 in my 6 months. A Civic, you couldn’t find last year was 440.00 more for insurance. The lowest insurance increase was the 24 HRV EXL at 235.00. I paid 29,000. No mark ups as I refused. I got 5.9 interest, not average of 9.97. My Fit was 330 a month. My HRV is 342.00. I put 2 J down to. Financed 20,500. My loan now is 11,800 in 10 months. I’m paying extra principal. Gas mileage sucks ass but I work at home. If you buy one get the EXL for leather, power seat, sun roof, blind spot, wireless charging. It’s not an Accord that I want but I refuse to pay my insurance company more. I got the show room car as the Honda dealer had sold the other 3 they had.

You could have switched insurance companies like the experts tell us to do every 3-4 years and get a better rate to bring them new business. Loyalty doesn’t pay like it did for your grandparents. You tell them do a rerate too where they pull your credit and see if it improved. Why don’t you keep the Fit. And who is the “9.5% normal” for ? That’s rape! That’s for people with awful credit. I just bought a 2025 Camry Hybrid and got 4.9% which is Toyotas best rate. Fortunately I have enough to pay it off and will in a few days. I only got it a week ago. That will save me $5000.00 in interest. You are probably only paying about $3 per day in interest on your balance with that rate.

My father just purchased the 2025 HRV LX AWD in Nov 2024. We love the new design: modern and spacious front seating compared with my 2020 CRV. Love the cleanness of the new interior, also the fact that small sized ladies like me & my mom don't have to 'climb' into a tank (my previous CRV), seating is very comfortable compare with CRV. My father has hip surgery so he requires good amount of space at driver seat, it does the trick and he says the engine sounds is good and drives smoothly. Great trunk space with backs seats completely flattened. Many ppl say Honda cars required least repairs. That's what I have experienced with all my Honda cars. Highly recommended if you are both quality and budget conscious.

It was great around town, zippy and nice handling. It was however a gutless wonder! But what you got in return was worth it. Paid $15k in 2021, sold in 2024 for $18,500 putting 25k on the odometer. Oh and no silly start stop technology which is sooo irritating and not good for the motor.

The only reason to buy this is if Uber doesn't go where you're going and you don't have time to save for Mazda's lowest rung. Actually, they may be comparable in price. The HR-V's engine is weak. So much so that I think it might pose a danger in steep uphill on-ramps. If you are getting small car for an aging parent/grandparent who has no plans to drive on freeways, this might be the ticket.

I own a 2020 Honda Pilot (leased it first) and I have leased several Hondas + two Acuras and honestly …. I am beginning to wonder if Honda is hurting. They are light-years behind in offering hybrids, and had to turn to GM for a fairly bad EV (the Prologue is bland-bland and more bland) that was based on an existing GM gas powered Chevy Blazer, Acura is even farther behind the competition in having hybrids and EV and still only has a tiny amount of models, and finally Honda’s big “future vehicle” is actually another Hydrogen fuel cell CRV….when there are NO hydrogen fuel places!!!! my mom and nana both have owned many hondas throughout their lives (my nana has had 8, my mom has had 4) and when it's time for them to get new cars, they're both leaving the brand after 25+ loyal years. the insane price increases are now unjustifiable for the ratio of luxury to dollars. my mom currently has a 2021 CR-V and in 2021 the MSRP of her EX-L AWD was 31,900 and that's what she paid. now, a 2025 CR-V EX-L AWD is over 38k with the few options she has (rubber mats and cargo tray, door and moonroof visors). 32k just barely gets you a FWD LX now. not to mention, the only features that the 25 has over the 21 are LED headlights /interior lights and a bigger screen. that's it! for 6k more than the 21 price. my nana has a 2020 HR-V EX FWD. since the EX trim is no more, the closest in comparison would be the Sport. her HRV in 2020 was 22k, and now the Sport is 27k. the 2020 has a sunroof as well and the Sport doesn't. again, only upgrades are LED headlights and interior lights. plus you loose the magic rear seat and the 20 gets better gas mileage (38 usually). it makes more sense for my mom to switch to VW, as she really likes the new Atlas Cross Sport. after dealer incentives, it's only 3k more than the CRV and is a bigger, more powerful and much better equipped vehicle that she is actually going to be happy with her decision with. my nana on the other hand, doesn't drive much so it won't be time for an upgrade for hopefully a while, but she really likes the Ford Maverick, and it is only 2.5k more than the HRV. also tell me how it makes sense that a CR-V EX-L AWD is only 2.5K less than a Passport EX-L AWD?

My point is Honda use to be about quality, value, innovation and great gas mileage. Sadly, except for quality they have slipped way behind in everything else.

I drove the CR-V the other day (cross-shopping against the RAV4 to replace my 2010 V6 AWD RAV4 with 212k miles that was totaled a week ago by a drunk) and I didn't hate the CVT the way I thought I would, but then it had more power than the HR-V. I would consider the HR-V in AWD (I cross a 9,300ft pass to get to work in the winter) If it had the CR-V's drivetrain. But, sadly, it's a LOT weaker, and with the CVT, that's a hard nope. Too bad, because otherwise I could save some money and get the HR-V. So, I guess it's between the CR-V and the RAV4. Too bad, because otherwise the HR-V would meet my current needs (efficient daily driver with AWD for the mountains).

LOL "Hard acceleration"... The droning of the CVT just makes it SO much worse, us older types (I'm 60) just think the manual clutch is slipping badly or the auto tranny is low on fluid. Ugh. Honda should have made the CR-V engine/CVT an option, you KNOW it would fit. Or at least offer a factory turbo option for 200hp. At the elevations I regularly drive (9,300ft+) this thing would TOTALLY suck to drive.
