From what I’ve seen it’s not really a reboot since it’s the exact same as it has been, just more solo friendly. The Steam numbers the other day weren’t even enough to fill a single server.
It's really not that bad. Yes, a subscription is very helpful for a few things, the craft bag mostly, but most people who are relatively new to the game and want to play everything would probably want a sub anyway, since there's a lot of DLC by this point that would add up to a pretty penny if you wanted to buy all of them instead of paying the sub. Their engine is tired and dated but can hold more objects than ue5? Starfield might not have hit with you but it hit with a lot of people who like the sandbox Bethesda makes. I don't think they're making a Starfield mmo because this was supposed to be their own IP.
@@Tport712 I mean, when I look at the steam charts, Starfield has about 1/3 the concurrent players as Skyrim at the moment and 1/2 as many concurrent players as No Man's Sky. Ive been playing the best Star Wars RPG because of this game and the mod creators that are continuously adding new things to the game. The world is empty and the physics are completely ridiculous having current day type weapons able to work on the moon. Count me our if it's a Starfield mmo!
If it is Starfield, they need to narrow the scope. Narrow it down to 2 or 3 solar systems to begin with. They can always expand the universe later. We care more about quality than size. Also, have a decent and non-repetitive storyline. I stopped playing Starfield because it became too repetitive and boring. Allow us to explore on unique and beautiful planets that are not filled with boring open space. And lastly…intelligent aliens…have alien races we can communicate with. The alien life in the current Starfield…boring.
Nope. One vote against ever getting involved with another live service from Bethesda or Zenimax. Not everyone will vote this way, but there are a LOT that will never engage with them again. Way WAAY WAAAYYY too MTX-happy of a studio.

So a starfield MMO would not need to be held back by a single player engine used in Starfield proper. Thankfully. I like the ESO controller gameplay way better than Skyrims UI and controller limitations.
Skyrim is an 11 year old game, and I remember when ESO launched, people who didn't like Skyrim but loved Morrowind and Oblivion, were excited about hoping back into those environs with ESO. I just don't think there is enough excitement surrounding Starfield for there to be a profitable MMO made with this IP.
@@kestrik Skyrim is also the evolution of their main IP that has had 11 years of mods to apply to it. You can do pretty much anything with Skyrim. Starfield is a brand new IP that is not sitting well with every Bethesda fan that is for sure, but again there are still plenty of people that love the sand box. Ive been playing the best Star Wars RPG because of this game and the mod creators that are continuously adding new things to the game. Saying the game is not popular is not the same as saying the game is technically well made. There are a few UA-camrs that have shown off the weird things that you can do in this engine as opposed to other engines and it is no slouch.
@@Tport712 I mean, I'm not trying to be hater. I just have serious doubts at this point. Best of luck to them.
I sincerely hope you're wrong and it isn't a Starfield mmo. Even though I haven't played it, what I've seen and heard about the game has not made me want to go out and buy it. Earlier today I was watching a video going over the entire games main story with gameplay included. The world is empty and the physics are completely ridiculous having current day type weapons able to work on the moon. Count me our if it's a Starfield mmo!
Nice.
Starfield? ugh
No way did I just waste 26 minutes for a starfield plug… I’m moving on from Bethesda I’ve supported enough for 5+ years with just eso🤦🏻
I hope it isn't Starfield
Nope. One vote against ever getting involved with another live service from Bethesda or Zenimax. Not everyone will vote this way, but there are a LOT that will never engage with them again. Way WAAY WAAAYYY too MTX-happy of a studio.
I hope to god it's not Starfield Online, the worldbuilding in that game is shallow, stupid and boring
maybe it'll be an actual Fallout MMO and not the trash that is 76
I'd love to be wrong, but... Basically, the game will be DEI Western trash with tons of microtransactions lol. Watch it be Starfield Online. 🤣🤣
WOuld love go back to ESO, I use to play on Ps4 but I've since made the switch to PC and unfortunately ESO isn't cross save. Until they can do cross-save, I wont be returning to the game. 6k hours, over $6k USD It's not worth it for me to start over again.
That’s due to storefront. It’s not just an issue of cross save. Since it hasn’t happened yet it likely never will due to contracts.
I hear you. I was in the same situation but I said screw it and switched to pc. For me im experiencing the game all over again
6k usd? bro?... do a charity please, dont give your money to greedy companies, spend the minimum
@@konkats-tg7pf I was addicted to building in my houses. I built aquariums for people for mats and gold.
