I've been shooting photography most of my adult life. It started with an on sale Nikon D3200 that wasn't even interested in using, all the way through being a photography business owner, teacher, and UA-cam Photography Content Creator.
My favorite subjects are Human Portraits and Shallow Depth of Field with my specialty, or claim to fame if you will, being Dramatic Nude and Bodyscape. Over my many years of photography I've mastered many genres but I never stop learning and I don't want you to stop either. That's why I started my UA-cam Channel in the year 2020. After a hiatus from photography, I picked up my camera again just in time for the Covid Pandemic. The world shut down. With more time than ever and no humans to photograph I found myself bored but motivated. ZWade Photo, the UA-cam Channel, was born.
I have always been a Nikon brand photographer, but in my community on UA-cam there is limitless room for Canon, Sony, Fuji, Leica, Hasselblad, Nikon, AND any other brand, photographers. Follow along as this channel one day grows into the biggest, most honest, and most fun photography community on the internet.

I think Nikon is finally putting out cameras that will make a lot of DSLR users finally go mirrorless. I switched from Canon to a d750. I had it a year and a half before it got killed at the beach by a wave. I had insurance on it and got all my money back. The z6 II had just come out a couple months before that so I took a chance and bought it. I added a z8 at Christmas. I now have 3 battery chargers by the way. I would love to sell my z6 II next year and get the III. I just paid for a wedding and may have another next year to pay for so it's hard to say if I'll get one. But I do have the z8.

@@ZWadePhoto Well, you were right about the backorders. I was already waiting about two weeks, and based on other delays I just canceled my Z6iii order and got a Z8 instead. lol. I feel like there was a conspiracy to make me impatient, but I guess I'm okay with it. The Z8 has already shipped!

Thanks ZWade! I've seen online that the Z6iii may have poor dynamic response for the low light areas of photo, but I'd love to see your opinion regarding this issue. This may not be relevant to your purposes for live streaming, but it could matter for fine photography.
@@PsychedelicChameleon I am definitely going to test that, but I’ve seen the tests and generally they are recovering from very underexposed shots, which is way nastier to save than just shooting proper exposure at a high ISO. The first podcast I recorded with the 6iii I accidentally shot auto iso which was 16000 and it actually cleaned up pretty damn easy in Davinci. I was sure it was ruined but nope haha
I have Z5 and seriously considering buying Z6iii for wildlife and action shooting, maybe in the Autumn. But I wonder how do the images between Z5 and Z6iii compare, especially dynamic range , it's very important for landscape and low ISO settings. I will keep Z5 as my main travel body.

Hey there, i just traded my Zf in for the Z6iii for the better ergonomics. But… though i am not a big video guy, i just need an all a rounder camera for wildlife (flying, running, and stills) and for landscape. I am not a professional, but i like good quality images so i can print and post on social media. Will this Z6iii (even though so many people say DR is bad) would it be good for a wildlife, nature, landscape camera? I don’t have a big budget, just want a camera that is great for what i do.
@@briancarlisle2534 oh for sure. I think it’s probably the best all round camera period right now. I haven’t done the video yet but the animal eye tracking is grabbing the eyes of dogs that have dark eyes and dark fur, a tough thing for any camera.
@@ZWadePhoto thanks so much for your response. I think most of my photos have more landscapes than anything else, so knowing the tracking is good as well, especially for rare warblers i see here in Maine will be of great use too.

I really hope a Nikon z5ii is in the works. Imagine a z5 with BSI sensor and Exspeed 7 for $1,399.
But I believe that won’t happen until summer 2025 because the moment that z5ii is released, there’s no reason to get the Nikon Zf.
@@WidePhotographs I imagine it will be slower than the ZF, but it’s a good point because the ZF will only have cool and fun factor going for it because performance is is going to be more or less universal
I shoot low light dance photography and this camera looks very intriguing! I sold my Z6II in order to help purchase my Z8. The Z8 is a great camera, but it starts to get noisy at iso 3200. In a dark theater I often need iso 6400-10,000. Using an electronic shutter with my Z8, with its stacked sensor, banding with LED lighting can become a problem (all theater LED lights are not equal). If the Z6III has a quieter mechanical shutter than the Z6II (which was doable but not ideal in a theater) I am in. The shutter doesn't need to be silent, just relatively quiet) I may be interested in this camera. I always enjoy your videos!
I Use AI Adobe Denoise to remove Noise from High ISO Astro and Birds in Flight >> Z8 is the only camera I will ver need .. future proofed forever
@Mr09260 Topaz AI also works well with noise. Using 24 megapixel cameras saves me this step. My Z8 is my favorite all-around camera, though.
@@stanobert3475 It’s pretty quiet I’d say. But nothing is as loud as a DSLR was a few years ago, depends on Your definition of loud. Hmmmmm experiment time

I dont think that the Z6III is the camera everyone beside a Z8/9 was waiting :/. People who buy a 24Mpx Sensor assume that this camera has more dynamic range and better noise levels in higher ISO - But this is not the case with the Z6III It is worse than the 46Mpx sensor of the Z8/9 and even worse than the 6-year-old Z6. I was not expecting that. Only a bit better dynamic range, the fast autofocus and RAW Video and it would have been my dream camera. So I have decided now if I should get the bigger/more expensive Z8 - if my reseller take my Z6III back? :/
@@patfish3291 I’m gonna test the noise performance on UA-cam. So far the tests I’ve seen are kill tests and that isn’t super reasonable. I also just accidentally shot a whole podcast at auto ISO (16,000). I was shocked at how good the vid looked and how easily it cleaned up in post
Since they have the same amount of megapixels I wonder how it compares to the Z5.

I thought the build quality of my Z6iii was pretty good compared to my Z50 at least.
