I've been shooting photography most of my adult life. It started with an on sale Nikon D3200 that wasn't even interested in using, all the way through being a photography business owner, teacher, and UA-cam Photography Content Creator.
My favorite subjects are Human Portraits and Shallow Depth of Field with my specialty, or claim to fame if you will, being Dramatic Nude and Bodyscape. Over my many years of photography I've mastered many genres but I never stop learning and I don't want you to stop either. That's why I started my UA-cam Channel in the year 2020. After a hiatus from photography, I picked up my camera again just in time for the Covid Pandemic. The world shut down. With more time than ever and no humans to photograph I found myself bored but motivated. ZWade Photo, the UA-cam Channel, was born.
I have always been a Nikon brand photographer, but in my community on UA-cam there is limitless room for Canon, Sony, Fuji, Leica, Hasselblad, Nikon, AND any other brand, photographers. negative news sells. if you have to go to those extremes the shot just wasn't there. I've got the z62 and it is inferior to the 3 as it should be but it's more than serviceable for the majority of shooters.
Nikon are making cameras that are annoying they neigh Sayers because they can't complain. The z8 gives saves peoples pinky fingers z630 a flippy screen, z9 actual flagship (cough canon cough) retro nostalgia zf and the ecpeed 7 processes and focuses within market standards.
With the exception of a z500 where are the holes? the z73 will be a landscapers and product photographers wet dream slow but high MP, z52 and z502 is a nice welcome unit to the z series.
a strong Nikon is good for all brands people need to stop their sooking.

Then the Z5 is still an amazing camera for the price. It doesn't have the bells and whistles, and is a bit slower, but plenty of photography can be done with minutes of setup.

Agree about folks going overboard about the dynamic range. For comparison, the Canon R6 II applies forced noise reduction to RAWs, up to ISO 1600. You can switch to electronic shutter and it'll turn the NR off, but guess what... then the Canon's PDR is almost identical to the Z6 III !

My first tests with it were with lenses I wasn't happy with on the Z8 or Z9...This sensor gives those lenses a little something more so they will have new life on this camera. Can't resolve the higher MP's is all I can figure.
Are they older adapted lenses? I don’t see any of the Z lenses not resolving 45 mp haha
@@ZWadePhoto No. The 28-400mm was really crappy on the 8 and 9 but did way better on the Z6 III. Didn't want to name it as I know how you feel about some of those. :)

My question is when it comes down to an upgrade and I’m shooting mainly people, fashion, cosplay, portrait and so on, is it the Z6 III or the z8 or the zf that I look to? Leaving out the z9 until budget circumstances change. lol

If you have the budget, I’d take a Z8 personally. But honestly the AF and tracking is every bit as good so far as I can tell. If you’re printing all the time like I am, and I personally like 45mp, probably would be nice to save the money and rock that 6iii.

@@StripedTailz If it for real does have “better” dynamic range, it’s probably because it’s 4 megapixels. But besides 4 megapixels, 1.5 fps with a 6 shot buffer roughly 20 seconds to clear after bursts, and max video resolution of 800x600 15fps, how else is the Minolta Z2 better?

Dynamic range takes a big hit making this camera only usable on cloudy days
@@alphaandomega2709 having sensor stacking, partial in this case, does not cause DR take take a big hit. It takes a small hit, with your logic the Z8 and Z9 should only be useable in cloudy days as well right? That is verifiably bot the case.
The videos you saw are shooting in unrealistic use cases as if the user doesn’t know anything about the exposure triangle their are comical really. You don’t under expose that much and expect the images to look good, on any camera.
