found a great pleather jacket at forever21 for 20 bucks - taupe color, very soft, has lasted for a year and still going strong and I get lots of compliments. I just got a black leather jacket from topshop for 90.

I like the "Nasty Gal" brand. A girlfriend of mine ordered one. She wears a size 14 which is limited in some brands.
I bought 4 Cole Hann leather jackets. They were on sale, but they were still expensive. I love them a lot. They smell great.
Great video! I have a couple of great leather jackets - my favorite is from Vince. Retails for $1,095. I found it at TJ Maxx for $149!! Also, the house brand for stores like Neiman's and Saks have good options at decent prices.
Zara for the low tier, I bought one but returned and got the balfern from all saints, love!!! For a vegan option I would do free people( if I buy something that comes from an animal I choose higher quality so fewer animals will suffer).
My go-to is always Allsaints...got 8 leather jackets and best bang for your buck. They all looks like I paid over 1K...when I paid a few hundred bucks...mostly 250 to 300 bucks for the most per each jacket.😎✌
Great video! I actually invested in a Balmain and am very happy with it. For mid range leather jackets I would recommend the following brands: Replay, Diesel, Diesel Black Gold, Boda Skins
Lucky Brand is pretty good too.

a few years ago, alfani (house brand for macys) came out with a couple of chic options, at a $200 price point. not the best quality, but for the price it was a good buy. don't know if they still make them.

Although I love black clothing, I think that a black leather jacket might be too harsh for me. I would like a nice gray or even a gentle pink leather jacket ... mid-level price range. Question: How do I figure out which style, length, etc. leather jacket to wear? Perhaps you can do a video that shows styles of leather jackets for different body-types.

Hi Lauren, Love your channel. I have a question. I know a fairly young person who feels that it is ok to walk around without a bra. She thinks that it is ok to wear off the shoulder dresses and tops without a bra or a strapless bra. She is a 34B. Am I just old fashion or what? I think if you are going to work, or in public, shopping etc... one should wear a bra. What do you think?
Hi Lauren, helpful video! I'm wondering about the proper fit of a leather jacket. Do you think it's best to buy one that you can wear closed or is it okay to get one that looks great but is too tight to close? Whenever I've shopped for leather, the SAs tell me it doesn't matter if you can't close the jacket because women wear them for fashion and not warmth. What's your opinion?

Hi Lauren, thank you for your videos. Your options are very nice. I have to agree with another person in the comment section, Belstaff are extremely nice. I also recommend Allsaints, Diesel and Roland Sands. I have come across nice looking leather jackets from high reputable brands (very expensive) but they sometimes do not age very well, I recommend to all of your viewers to have this in mind. I also came across a video here in youtube from Boda Skins, do you have any opinion about them? Thank you again.

I LOVE leather jackets as much as you:)) ı wear them every single day:) My fist choice is, of course, Balenciaga, OMG they are gorgeous:)) but Rick Owens is also my favorite, ı love his tanks, boots (some of them:),leather Jackets, long cardigans, ohh ılove him and his wife:) what do you think about his shape? and can you make a video about his jackets? How about those who love leather jackets but don't want to wear animal products? I believe there must be some classy options. Even in luxury brands like Stella Mccartney, although her brand is quite unique in this matter.
Great video! Leather jackets are a staple of my wardrobe! I'm surprised you didn't mention All Saints, that's my go to mid-range (top range for my budget lol) brand for leather jackets. I basically live in my Papin from All Saints. Will definitely check out Trouve in Nordstrom for a more budget option. I feel like I've seen some ok quality ones at Nordstrom from Blank NYC too (on a super great discount), but have never pulled the trigger on that brand so can't speak with authority.

I never understand the need to have real leather. It's so cruel and unnecessary. I love the look and I have a few feux leather ones that I've had for 5-10 years that are in perfect condition. No one's style is worth a life.

Usually leather jackets are going to be made from byproducts of the meat industry, unless you're buying something like alligator/ostrich etc. It's also better for the environment to both do something useful with hides that would otherwise be wasted/have a jacket that lasts forever, preventing you from needing to buy 57 others over time (which wastes resources), and isn't made from petroleum based plastics that are non-renewable. Not saying there aren't problems with the leather industry, but humans eat animals and that results in a whole lot of leather that we can either waste or turn into useful items that aren't made from oil.
I'm typing this response wearing my real leather jacket and eating a bloody steak. I feel so much better knowing an animal suffered and died a horrible death and that it disturbs you to no end.
