By the looks of it, it was a total overhaul of the whole house. It looked completely different. It became so beautiful and very classy after the renovation. Good job!
Wow they did a really thorough job! Much more attention to detail then most flips you see. Love the new craftsman style front porch. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the blue tile everything else was beautiful!
it has been 12 years. How time flies. I just checked the Google Earth satellite image because we live across the country now, that huge tree is still there in the back yard and has not fallen on the house.
I like how the home kept its authenticity , although its modern and nice on the inside it is not over done and the house still looks like part of the neighborhood
I see a lot of trees kept like that especially in the La Grange area. Water it often, you can take out some concrete patio if needed. Amazing vision and follow through. You can get full market value for that place now for sure.
OMG! I absolutely love your renovations! It just gets better with each video. I have always dreamed of purchasing an old historical home and renovating it, but I could never get passed the before part. You truly show vision in your work.
Agreed. Very impressive work. Loved the glass tile accents in both bathrooms, as well as the arches you carried throughout. Congrats on an awesome project!
I just bought a Craftsmen home in Glendale ,Ca 2yrs ago and I wish you could do my home like this one . I'm so inspired by the color , style and your vision.
That is like one of the most beautiful flips I ever seen! That motivates me more to become an RE investor! Use your creative artful mind to make something old and ugly to something Beautiful!
Absolutely beautiful! Couple of things I would be concerned about is that tree in the backyard, one good storm and it's gonna fall into the new addition. Hope that sod was free, cause it looked dead on arrival.
That house was in Texas and in the winter. Its common to lay dormant sod on remodels and then in the Spring it greens in. You cant get green sod in the freezing winter in some climates.
Hey man I think your work is terrific. Fixing up those old houses ain't easy and you sur do a nice job preserving them and making them beautiful again. You deserve some praise so there you go. Good luck!
[I got this from a friend who is a contractor] Rules vary from state to state. Homeowners must get a permit to remove a tree on their own property= $$$; it costs $500-$1500 and up to cut down the tree, plus stump removal cost ... so we're talking a serious expenditure here. As with anything, a deal can be made, but it's going to cost. Great renovation despite the tree issue.
Others have commented - and I agree - that building right up next to that tree is going to cause problems, one of them being lots of leaves stuck on the roof and in the gutter. The trunk will slowly continue to enlarge and push against the structure too. The biggest trouble would come with a big storm that breaks off branches or pushes the entire thing over, which would break up the cement pavement at least and crush the house at worst..
"Flip" implies a sleazy "buy it one day, sell it the next" situation. This is different. You did a thoughtful renovation, and did it right. It's more than just a flip.
Awesome job! So much luxurious space, great finishes. It is style specific, but done well. How much did all of it cost? I would love to do something like this.
You can buy the music on I Tunes, its listed at the top under the number of times people watched the video. Artist is Habib Koite and song is Din Din Wo
Its about 12" off. We built around it but the buyer took it down anyway as far as we know. The shade that 100 year old tree provided did wonders for the electric bill and neighborhood so we opted not to touch it.
AWESOME JOB LOOK'S SOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUTSIDE EXCELLENT WORK AND I THOUGHT THEY WOULD REMOVE THE TREE BUT OTHER THEN THAT EVERYTHING LOOK'S AWESOME EXCELLENT WORK EVERYONE KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK
Kate From Ca N/A they could have at least removed that one big branch hanging over the roof if they didn't want to remove the whole tree. From my personal experience I can say that having big branches hanging over your house can be very problematic, especially during times of strong winds.
Beautiful 'rebuild' but the kştchen cabinets were disappointing and I thought that the stove was going in the alcove with some nice Spanish tiles, but the fridge ended up there instead. Not a fan of the choice of tile in the bathrooms either or the mosaic backsplashes. All in all the house is lovely and no doubt it sold well.
Texas deals with the occasional hurricane. Leaving that tree to lean over the new addition was stupid. Just cut it down. Not to mention it completely throws off that patio. So many good ideas in this remodel and you leave that insurance liability looming over the project haha.
#LucilleB First off I hate videos that's only pictures but for some odd reason I loved this one. The outcome was beautiful... I'm subscribing @Jordan Little
how long did the project take from start to completion..i am also going to start a major project like this..but hoping can get it done in under 6months provided it doesn't rain..planning to do all the work DIY amazing and inspiring video..catalogue finish glorious
the most impressive thing was the use of space without going crazy on size... .everything now seems to have to be huge ...meh perhaps cozy is out of fashion and air craft hangers are in.
They couldn't legitimately show that because it would show how bad a business move it actually was unless they did a lot of corner cutting that can't be seen.

Lot more than a flip. Turned out good.

I have flipped a few houses in my day and that looks more like a rebuild. I do like it. Good job.

I really enjoyed the picutres of the improvements and additions to this flip property. Thank you for leaving the tree in place.
I'm an African girl who loves home renos. I was very glad to hear the background music you choose. Thank u for that
Agreed. Very impressive work. Loved the glass tile accents in both bathrooms, as well as the arches you carried throughout. Congrats on an awesome project!
Love, love, love this house!! For one thing, it's my favorite Craftsman style, and the renovation is amazing.
Love the music

Wow, what a difference that front porch makes. Beautiful results... but that tree!!!
Very very nice restoration of a craftsman bungalow...very very nice.
Just my dream house !!!😊😊 great job👍

That is one hell of a flip
Thanks, the front porch really transformed the facade.
I think your work is great! I know it's hard fixing up those old homes and you did a fantastic job!
Stunning. Thanks for saving another house from the rubbish pile.

I am a big fan of your work tom ... the house looks great ... i hope one day i could start doing house flips.

"Flip" implies a sleazy "buy it one day, sell it the next" situation. This is different. You did a thoughtful renovation, and did it right. It's more than just a flip.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this video, it gives me an great idea on what to do with my house that im about to renovate.
Awesome job! So much luxurious space, great finishes. It is style specific, but done well. How much did all of it cost? I would love to do something like this.
Such an amazing job, you actually made it look like the house was always like that.
Wonderful! Loved the arches. Adds character.
Love the brown details around each of the windows!
Best one of these I've seen yet
You can buy the music on I Tunes, its listed at the top under the number of times people watched the video. Artist is Habib Koite and song is Din Din Wo
Awesome video... I like how you had vision past what was there, you created something new and great.

Thank you!
Gaoussou Baba TRAORE sounds pretty nice!!!
Gaoussou Baba TRAORE Enjoyed it!
Beautiful and timeless.
Beautiful work. Looks like the old Craftsman style. I kinda liked the tempo of the music.
you even found that old style narrow siding good job! Too bad it doesn't have a garage though
Its about 12" off. We built around it but the buyer took it down anyway as far as we know. The shade that 100 year old tree provided did wonders for the electric bill and neighborhood so we opted not to touch it.
Must be a desirable location to be worth putting that much work into that old place. Well done.
it really is. 2 minutes from downtown in a historic district
AWESOME JOB LOOK'S SOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUTSIDE EXCELLENT WORK AND I THOUGHT THEY WOULD REMOVE THE TREE BUT OTHER THEN THAT EVERYTHING LOOK'S AWESOME EXCELLENT WORK EVERYONE KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK
That was an amazing result. You have a great bunch of builders there, lucky you.
Good job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great job! Love the trees.
Very empressive. luv your creativity.
Love that music!
💯
Great job as always, but I would have taken down that tree in the backyard.
No way!
YOU GUYS SOME CRAZY DUDES..LOVE IT!! I WISH I COULD DO THIS STUFF
🙏🙏🙏
funny thing, we did put new sod in. In Texas and colder winter climates the sod comes brown in the off season.
Amazing Work Guys....Loved
Thank you so much 😀
that huge tree is going to cause muy problems as roots expand foundation will pop up, we've been there too close to house!
i see the roots cracking that cement. I'm assuming they kept the tree for shade purposes. It is in Texas.
Kate From Ca N/A no it wont that tree is already established. not much more growing
Kate From Ca N/A they could have at least removed that one big branch hanging over the roof if they didn't want to remove the whole tree. From my personal experience I can say that having big branches hanging over your house can be very problematic, especially during times of strong winds.
Yeah,my thoughts when I saw it,also limbs could break off onto the roof...just get rid of it.
Kate From Ca N/A so true about that tree🤔
WOOOOOW!!!!! Im inspired by the before and after. This video makes me want to FLIP HOUSES!

I love the music/soundtrack you always do.

Awesome job
Great slideshow of before and after.....I love seeing the transformation.
LBRERainbow
would be nice if you added how much this cost and how long it took.
They couldn't legitimately show that because it would show how bad a business move it actually was unless they did a lot of corner cutting that can't be seen.
I spent about 100k on it. It took 3 months. I made 100k profit.
Watched the whole slideshow because I wanted to listen to the whole song. Hell, I don’t even know what they’re saying.
I love the trim great work
Love the house and music!!
Outstanding! And I'm picky.
