Mine was 3c2. I have opened up, changed the relay 1 for a new one ($3 bucks) and voilà! Back to work after 1 month presumed dead. It was my last atempt at something, before buying a new one... It's been a week and it works every single day!
AWESOME Video. Check it out. Just running the diagnostic code as it shows on the video, resolved my problem. The problem was "water was not initiating on any cycle" in another words it started the cycle and you don't hear anything, such as water flowing into the washer. Thank You!
C'mon now...he said with pictures that it needs power and water. He was talking about repairs that power and water needs to be off. "Before any repairs" Diagnostics would be before the repair. If you're gonna try and be funny... At least have it be true. ps... fail for anyone who thought your reply was funny..
Thank you for this video. My machine is throwing a 4C and leaking (possibly when draining). I've done all the checks for the code and it's still doing it. So, I am hoping there is another code that is not displaying or by running diagnostics I can find the problem. I've been through too many of these stupid modern machines. Take me back to the 80's when machines actually had longevity.
FOUND the problem! Being able to run the diagnostic helped a lot! It appears that an unbalanced load caused a small hose to become disconnected. I think it is a hose that carries water from the tub to the dispenser. So, the tub would fill, but as it got to the level where this hose was, it would start leaking. So, the washer threw the 4C code as it perceived an issue with the water filling in the tub. Thanks again for your video!

@No Name There was a small hose in the back that became disconnected. I had to disconnect the power, water hoses (after turning them off), and the drain hose. Then I removed the back panel from the machine and was able to see the disconnected hose on the bottom left of the tub. I reconnected the hose and tested the machine (hooking everything back up except the back panel) to see if that was the only leak. It was. It's been running great with no leaks since.
I own this washing machine. I was so excited to buy it my very first expensive adult set. It sucks worse than a Hoover vacuum. I was excited to not have an agitator I would give anything to have an agitator. Don't buy it. If you have questions feel free to message me.

My washer looks like the exact same model. It keeps stopping mid cycle. Seems like it stops after 15-20 mins. Usually clothes are wet and water is out of washer. I ran it through the whole test mode and all ran good as in this video. I took out the pump and made sure it was clean and it was. I tested the electrical connections on the water inlet valves and they were all getting 110v and had around 1000 ohm resistance. Any suggestions on what could be my problem or what to test next?

In the spin test, this machine looks to go to 98 or 99, mine will only go to 36. My machine will not spin clothing, says Ur or Ub. Have tried vibration sensor and suspension rods, hasn't fixed it. Have checked ohms on stator sensor, seems good. Should it spin up to the value shown in video?
@@JB-rr9cm I gave up and bought an LG washer from Costco with a 5 year warranty. I troubleshoot the issue down to the computer/motherboard. It was a $300CAD part that I was only partly certain would fix it. I tried uncovering the wires and checking resistance on every connection.
Will this also work on a Samsung Top Load washer? Model WA50F9A6DSW/A2? It won’t let me let the load I want to do and then it won’t start after it eventually selects its own load.

hi. thanks for posting this video. I have a slightly different washer ww22kw6800, but the 17 worked. I get a 8C1 or maybe it's a BC1 error. Can't find any information about it online. do you know what that's for? thanks.

You are a great teacher. I found out it was the suspension rod. They were worn out. Cos i used the tube and zip tire method which worked for a while but now nope. So i just ordered one from amazon for $48 4 sets instead of a new washer. You are amazing and very helpful indeed. My washer was having unbalanced load issues, drain spinning then bang, refill drain spinning bang in a cycle. I reduced high spin to medium then it was OK. now even low spin will bang like its about to break and not spin. I got so frustrated but feeling better about this

Hello! So my washer showed Ub code. I did run diagnostic test like on this video. Did not get any codes. It’s probably mean that washer works good? Thanks

Cool. Washer wouldn't start I guess my wife didn't notice the ub code and kept pressing the buttons. I put it through diagnostic mode and at the end it said ub. 👍

Hey when my washer gets at 8 it doesnt spin at all then the number jumps to 10 immediately and stops the test run. Is there any filter on this specific model that I can try to eliminate debris off of?

I bought a brand new WA52M7750AV/A4-01 in Sep 2018 and it died Feb 2023. It was doing a Steam Sanitize cycle when it stopped working. The panel said that it still had 42 minutes to go. We tried to reset it by doing the unplug/plug routine to no avail. Items being washed could not be removed as the lid won't open. Pressing one of the buttons would flash the "Door closed" on the panel. Even without testers or any gadget, Sears repair man said that the problem is the Main Control Board. He said repair would be at least $500 and it is better to just buy another one. I am now trying to repair it but they say that the Main Control Board is out of stock. This is my first Samsung washer and first bad experience with a washer.

I am having trouble with my toploader starting. Sometimes it takes 30 attempts to get the START button to actually engage and begin a load. I have to turn the power off and then back on before each attempt. So running diagnostics is about impossible. Any thoughts???

You contact Samsung and demand they fix this problem. Many Samsungs were recalled. Give Samsung your model# and Serial#. They'll tell you if it's a recall. But either way, they should send out a DISH tech to fix the grinding noise.

I get a UE code all the time, I replaced the 4 suspension rods and was wondering what else I could do to reset it or recalibrate it. The sumsung top washer is 9 yrs old..
I'm in the same boat. Changed the 4 x rods and cleaned the water pump. I still get the water and spin at the 8-9 minute mark and goes on until I manually stop it. I have to separate the load, then spin only for another 11 minutes. Add the second half load... Very labor intense... Anyone got any ideas?
calibration worked for us. To calibrate a Samsung washer, you can follow these steps: 1. Start by making sure the washer is empty and the water supply is connected. 2. Power on the washer and press the Power button. 3. Press and hold the Delay End button for three seconds to enter Calibration mode. 4. The washer will display “CAL” on the screen, indicating that it is in Calibration mode.
@Mikey-vt3to I double-checked my error codes, and they went away after the reset. Also, put in a wash last night, and it ran well! The spin cycle is now robust. Thank you.
I attempted to go into diagnostic mode but after I pressed delay button 17 times and then the start button for 7-10 seconds, nothing happens and the numbers continue to spin and spin. Any ideas on what’s going on or another way to enter diagnostic mode?

Mine does not lock to allow the diagnostic mode. I changed the lid lock mechanism, it is getting power to the lock, but still does not lock and allow the testing. Any ideas from here?
So u turn off the water and power but then turn it all back on for the test cycle? I have the same washer it’s working fine it’s just leaves white dirty residue on parts of washed clothes. So I’m guessing it’s filter problem but there’s no drain tube like other Samsung washers have. And mine didn’t even show AS when I press and hold at 17

Thanks for the great video. My washer just displays 2 when I start the test mode. It does not show Co like yours. Samsung washer model wa48h7400aw/a2. My issue first started with the water not draining. Then it wouldn't fill. I emptied it using a wet dry vacuum at the drain hose off the pump. I replaced the drain pump them the inlet valve. Still, it won't fill. I checked all the hoses and even purchased a water pressure gauge and my pressure is at just over 60psi. Please help. I'm handy enough to do this type of repair but this one has stumped me

Just got this machine two weeks ago and already it's making a horrible grinding noise and won't spin. Or anything else for that matter With the exception of a KNOB to turn, it appears to be the same model except it's all digital. I did everything you said and got to the CR, but then because I don't have a knob to turn I pushed the buttons one at a time, that corresponded as if I had a knob. Nothing. I couldn't get to the error codes. And, nowhere on the internet/youtube can I find help for this. Any help?

Mine is showing code SC or may be 5C my washer is MODEL : WF45N5300UAW/US do you know what that means I've only had the washer for a year and cant find my receipt for warranty and the sears store I bought it at has closed down. I clean the filter once sometimes twice a month and only thing ever in it is just lint junk unlike to call it lol. The thing that spins to the left on the inside of the pump spins and it sounds like it pumping but water barely drains. The hose isnt to far into the hole in the wall so I dont understand what that code is for it spins with no noises just leaves water in the drum

Thanks for saving a visiting cost. Our machine was in perfect condition, we suspected it of flooding our basement, but it was plumbing / motor.

@@Appliancevideo No power coming to unit.
Amazing video! Not even Samsung could help me! Thanks a lot!💕
This video really helped, I thought my fairly new washer was done because it was filling after error code Ub But all tests ran smoothly
Mine was 3c2. I have opened up, changed the relay 1 for a new one ($3 bucks) and voilà! Back to work after 1 month presumed dead. It was my last atempt at something, before buying a new one... It's been a week and it works every single day!
Mine threw the same error. What relay did you change and where?
Any ideas for washers that don't go into diag mode ? I have the same exact washer it's not displaying the A5 or anything just spins when I hold start
I have the same issue without the spinning. A5 didn't pop up. Light keeps spinning around instead
I have the same issue as well! Mine won't display A5 just wants to begin a cycle
Ever figure out what to do if it doesn't go into diag mode? Currently having this issue
AWESOME Video. Check it out. Just running the diagnostic code as it shows on the video, resolved my problem. The problem was "water was not initiating on any cycle" in another words it started the cycle and you don't hear anything, such as water flowing into the washer. Thank You!
Im real sure if we unplug the appliance 1st step then it's going to be pretty hard to enter diagnostic mode step 2. 😂
right? LOL
Lol. Well I guess if we couldn’t figure out that video mistake then we shouldn’t be trying to fix our machine. Lol
He clearly says to enter diagnostics you will need water and POWER. And on top of that he he even added little graphics showing this.
C'mon now...he said with pictures that it needs power and water. He was talking about repairs that power and water needs to be off. "Before any repairs" Diagnostics would be before the repair. If you're gonna try and be funny... At least have it be true.
ps... fail for anyone who thought your reply was funny..
Same thing I was thinking lol

@@anne-marieshaffer4928 Thank you so much!!!! Your comment helped lots
So 4c code is a leaking machine?

How do I get mine to drain? It's just filled with water won't drain or spin
Lmn😊
U need a new drain pump
If you hear that a coin maybe stuck, how do you get it out?
How would i do thise for the model wf220anw/xac
My washer looks like the exact same model. It keeps stopping mid cycle. Seems like it stops after 15-20 mins. Usually clothes are wet and water is out of washer. I ran it through the whole test mode and all ran good as in this video. I took out the pump and made sure it was clean and it was. I tested the electrical connections on the water inlet valves and they were all getting 110v and had around 1000 ohm resistance. Any suggestions on what could be my problem or what to test next?
Also in diagnostic is showed codes 3C-2, ub and dC.
Any luck. I’m having the same issue now

You are a great teacher. I found out it was the suspension rod. They were worn out. Cos i used the tube and zip tire method which worked for a while but now nope. So i just ordered one from amazon for $48 4 sets instead of a new washer. You are amazing and very helpful indeed. My washer was having unbalanced load issues, drain spinning then bang, refill drain spinning bang in a cycle. I reduced high spin to medium then it was OK. now even low spin will bang like its about to break and not spin. I got so frustrated but feeling better about this

To calibrate a Samsung washer, you can follow these steps:
1. Start by making sure the washer is empty and the water supply is connected.
2. Power on the washer and press the Power button.
3. Press and hold the Delay End button for three seconds to enter Calibration mode.
4. The washer will display “CAL” on the screen, indicating that it is in Calibration mode.
