Just a little pig tip! They don’t like for their feet to be off the ground. So when you pick them up if you support their legs and feet they usually don’t scream as bad.
@@kanchabeni6743 Dogs tend to attack birds, they are better for big animals but not for birds. Truly amazing seeing where you guys are today and where you came from . Building your own farm is amazing. Can't wait to see whats to come in the future .
My recommendation is to give them food in the evening before closing them in the cage. Put the food inside, the hunger will do its thing and they will come in alone. You can put it in 2 bowls, so they won't fight for food
But pigs HATE pooping and peeing near their nest so that isnt the best idea. Keeping them juuuuust hungry enough so that they'd want some yummy treats that they would ONLY get under these conditions every night, yes that'll work wonders
The ground in their shelter will get gross really fast, I dont think putting their food directly in their poo will be good. Better to just sprinkle the food on the grass, so they wont have to compete anyway

Loving all the amazing upgrades happening so flipping fast. Wooo Hooo. Pigs are easy to bucket train. When you take their food to them, always use the same color of bucket and shake the bucket. Then almost immediately, they are bucket trained and they will follow you anywhere if you have the bucket. If they get distracted, just show the bucket with a snack inside. Pigs are very hard to corral so the bucket training is pretty much mandatory. Then they will get into crates for the vet, into the tractor at night, climb into trailers for travel for any reason, move around following that bucket when giving new grazing. That high-end food motivation works in your favor. I have no tips for herding the ducks. Love you all so much. The boys are really learning to pitch in and they seem to enjoy it so that is great.
