@@Nezzle Sorry, I'm a bit of a problem-solving fanatic. Feel free to ignore my long suggestion: I think if on-road parking was illegal then car owners would have to *create* a small spot on their own frontage through excavation or building up the ground where needed. Otherwise, build a community parking area collectively. Both schemes have been done successfully in other parts of the world where roads are too narrow. It would stimulate building jobs and the government could allow a one-time tax relief on any materials used. The property also becomes a better value for sale or rent (and tax revenue too I suppose). The easy option of doing nothing has to be taken off the table first. Think of all the accidents and traffic delays that are caused by this issue.

Thank you. There’s a walking tour of Happy Hill on my channel that you can look at if you haven’t done so as yet. Please accept my condolences on the passing of your husband.
Hi Nezzle, lovely video. Would it be possible for you to do a video of "Hope Vale ".Its an area that I was aware of ,when I lived in Grenada, but never visited. I'm curious to see what it looks like. The name suggests an area of Serenity..Thank you.
Yea I’m so sorry about that. I really wanted to meet you too. Last week was just a really hectic week and I’ve had a lot going on. But hopefully next time.
That's okay. I prefer the walks as well because I'm able to show everything in more detail. However, unfortunately, it's not always possible to get the walks done in time so then I have to try and be creative and find other content.
If the Lord ain't using you, I don't know who is... Anyways, your video took me back to my childhood, as an American born of Grenadian descendants. I moved to Grenada in 1996 with my grandmother. She lived on Marrast Hill, the house adjacent to Westmorland Secondary/Primary School. The house with the unpainted walls seen at 23:16 on your left. The days of walking to J.W Fletcher Memorial R C School, St. Marys Primary School, and PBC(my mother could not afford Westmorland-- so St.Mary's sufficed. I would have to walk to school. Up Marrast Hill and Down Lowthers Lane- depending on the direction we wanted to take to J.W Fletcher(not sure if the name is the same or if the school still exists). There was more than one part we could take- short cuts included. Or walk down Marrast Hill all the way to the coke factory- then make a right up to Mt. Parnassus for St.Mary's Junior School- the school I transitioned to after my family deemed J.W Fletcher unfit for academic excellence. I've never thought I would have warm feelings about this place-Grenada again. I had so many traumatic experiences emotionally, mentally and physically-being bullied and treated differently" because I was different- and did not know how to be anything else... My heart was surely never to see this place again. BUT God... He has restored my soul- as evident with the joy- and hopes to help this nation that bubbles in my spirit every time I watch your videos. including helping the people, now men and women who I am sure are in need of opportunities for employment and economic, educational advancements in more ways than one. The "savior" they tried to break- will be the one sent back to deliver them from their "oppression"... "The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone"...Psalm 118:22 God is good. ALL things work together for the good of those who love God. Forgiveness is the start of a beautiful life-and is what the enemy tries so hard to prevent God's children from experiencing- because he knows we will not flourish living in resentment/hate/anger-unforgiveness. But God... Glory to God. On a lighter note-Blue Danube Bakery was my spot. A family-owned business that happens to be a relative of my mother's father's side of my family. Going o the bakery section to see my "aunt June" and her husband who never let me leave there without some fresh bread, cheese, and currant rolls FOR FREE. Now that I think about it they already knew what I was coming for when they saw my face-lol. Yet, they still blessed me. Maybe because I did not take advantage of the situation- I would go there once in a while- but shop at the regular grocery section regularly... Blessing Nezzle! Even when you don't feel like getting out of the house to do a video or an idea may pop in your head to do....do it. Don't feel like "we won't care" or "it is not interesting enough"... God is using you, sis. Mightily! and unconventionally! BTW- I only right this much because I know you will read it. Hey- I can't help ah dos write like yuh dad- having to explain in detail...lol
I’m so happy that my videos have been able to play a part in changing your feelings towards Grenada. I’m equally sorry that you had such a difficult time growing up here and that you were a victim of bullying. Praise God that you didn’t allow them to win and that you pressed on. Forgiveness is truly so freeing and it’s more for us than the ones being forgiven so I’m happy you’ve gotten to that place. I’m a currant roll lover as well so I feel you on those free currant rolls 😂😂 I don’t believe I’ve ever had a currant roll from Blue Danube but their butter bread is great and I love the special bread they make. I don’t buy them regularly but when I do, hmmm it’s heavenly. Much blessings to you too and thanks again for the encouragement. I appreciate it very much!
So I was playing around on Google Maps recently and I discovered something interesting about the two roundabouts on the Maurice Bishop highway: They are pretty much exactly 1 Km apart. So if you're ever curious about what a distance of 1 Km looks like just stand at one roundabout and look at the next one in the distance.
I truly think they should do something about that all these vehicles using roadside parking when it's not available it should be free for vehicles. If you have a house in Grenada and you want to have vehicles you should at least find ways and means to get a small garage or a small driveway. I find it very ignorant that you would used the street as you parking garage it is very backwards. So I totally agree with what you said
Yeah, I think it's just that many people can't afford to build a garage or they don't have the space to put it. So unfortunately they have to end up parking on the sides of the road. It's really not ideal though.
I am guessing because you guys are in a car and the windscreen obviously your camera lenses going in and out it's sometimes look Claire and it sometimes look hazy🤔
Grenada is so beautiful eye watering
It really is!

Here watching from Barbados🇧🇧
Awesome! Thanks for your support!
Very good. Nice
Nezz
Hi NEZZIE great drive in beautiful Grenada with the blue sky thanks Danny p
Big fan 👍👏👏
Thanks Arnold!
I'm really glad you enjoyed the video Ronald!
Hello Nezzle. I will like for you to visit New Hampshire, Greenville Vale. It is quite quiet in there.
Thanks for the video suggestion!
24:35 I call this stretch of road between the Tempe roundabout and the next roundabout near DeCaul's, Baker's Street, because there are several bakeries along the route.
Yes there are a few bakeries on that street indeed. I didn't know that people call it that thought. You keep teaching me new things. Thankie!
@@Nezzle No. People don't call it that. *I* call it that. lol.
@@caribbeanman3379 oh lol oki

Thank you. There’s a walking tour of Happy Hill on my channel that you can look at if you haven’t done so as yet. Please accept my condolences on the passing of your husband.
Hi Nezzle, when you get a chance can you do a walk or drive through Archibald's Avenue please?
Thanks

Hi Nezzle, lovely video. Would it be possible for you to do a video of "Hope Vale ".Its an area that I was aware of ,when I lived in Grenada, but never visited. I'm curious to see what it looks like. The name suggests an area of Serenity..Thank you.
Great suggestion! I think it's already on my list. It's an area I'd definitely like to do a walk in in the future.
nice drive
Thanks
Came home wanted to finally meet you but I heard you were busy
Yea I’m so sorry about that. I really wanted to meet you too. Last week was just a really hectic week and I’ve had a lot going on. But hopefully next time.
@@Nezzle yeaaa my lady wanted to suprise me
@@elwinrogers1176 oh that was really nice of her. Hopefully next time we can make it happen for real.
Very nice
Thanks!
Driving is cool but I like your walk around better👌🏾👍🏾
That's okay. I prefer the walks as well because I'm able to show everything in more detail. However, unfortunately, it's not always possible to get the walks done in time so then I have to try and be creative and find other content.
Need to see St David’s sometimes
Sure! I’ll work on doing a drive up there in the near future.
"The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone"...Psalm 118:22
God is good.
@@Nezzle Amen! 🙏🏾
My mom lives in the valley👌🏾
Oh that's nice! Hope you were able to glimpse her house.

Interesting! I never knew that. Thanks!

Awesome!
The old Sugarmill
Yup!
I am guessing because you guys are in a car and the windscreen obviously your camera lenses going in and out it's sometimes look Claire and it sometimes look hazy🤔
The camera is actually mounted on the outside of the car. It's just based off of the angle of the sun that it's clearer in some areas.

Hi!
like the people in woodland stop planting cane
It's true. You don't really see cane in that area anymore. I didn't even really realize until you pointed it out.
