The hill you went up and stopped at the yellow house where there was a cutlass in the road, there are two more houses up there. One of which happens to be my cousin’s who came from England to live. When one stands on the corridor, all of the south of the island can be seen. It’s a beautiful view up there. Thanks again.i wanna come back home.

A tractor operator was doing his gravel mining work when there was a gravel avalanche that buried him and his tractor, killing him.

It’s called corielee or collie pawpaw. The yellow fruit has a red seed inside and it doesn’t get any bigger. It’s a bitter leaves the elders used for cooling and cleansing. I think it’s good for high blood pressure as well. The fruit the young lady explained that is similar to passion fruit is called water lemon. I had many of those in my young days, it’s yellow on the outside and very sweet on the inside with seeds and the jellylike substance as the passion fruit.
@@roxannecooper8331 Thanks for the further clarification. It confirms that these names are being used interchangeably for *different* but probably very distantly related species of fruit. What I was brought up with as corilie or coroyla is what they sell in supermarkets as bitter melon. A green pod looking like a spiky and bumpy cucumber that itself has at least two regional types (large seeds and finer seeds) but are each *quite* bitter. Interesting though, that the medicinal claims are about the same as with many supposed healthy plants. Things like being good for diabetics and blood pressure; a blood cleanser; pains and cramps etc, etc. Thanks again.

I had many of those in my young days, it’s yellow on the outside and very sweet on the inside with seeds and the jellylike substance as the passion fruit.

What I was brought up with as corilie or coroyla is what they sell in supermarkets as bitter melon. A green pod looking like a spiky and bumpy cucumber that itself has at least two regional types (large seeds and finer seeds) but are each *quite* bitter.
Interesting though, that the medicinal claims are about the same as with many supposed healthy plants. Things like being good for diabetics and blood pressure; a blood cleanser; pains and cramps etc, etc. Thanks again.
