What Grenada Has Taught Me

- My mothers side of the family is from a small but mighty island in the Caribbean. I was born and raised in the United States of America. Over the last 6 months, I have been living in Grenada the Island of Spice and this country has taught me many lessons. Recently I was asked by some tourists what my observations have been and in what difference I have observed between the USA & Grenada. In this video I will speak to some of them.
Subscriber #341.. Keep on doing your thing. Amazing
Thank you!!!! 😁✌🏾
Wise words and very true. I was born in London of Grenadian parents and after telling them that I'd never live there, I now find myself looking forward to retiring there next year. The "first world" is losing a battle with itself and we're looking forward to a much simpler life as you alluded to in your excellent video.
Well said! I’m sure home (Grenada) can’t wait to have you back!😁✌🏾
Great vid - authentic content going out!
I'm Grenadian living in New York and I always hear people say if someone give you lemons you can make lemonade , base on what you are saying it's exactly what Grenadians are doing , we make a lot from a little ,
Yes, and that was one of the many inspirational things I've observed since being here. It is said that, "necessity is the mother of invention". Because Grenadians MUST do for self, they have the creativity to get what they need done for themselves. It's beautiful to observe. 😁✌🏾
This is us Grenadians we know how to make do. Hence you won't see homelessness or poverty in Grenada as other Caribbean islands. Also prostitutes on the streets are a no no in Grenada. We built differently in Grenada.
Thank you for the comment! 😁✌🏾
This video was great, sis!
I can tell that you are very motivated by those around you, and it is encouraging and inspiring. Black Americans definitely need to start investing into countries and communities with people of our shared heritage. All the rest of the world is seeing the benefits, resources, and whatever else there is in these countries, but they do not love the people, so they work to profit but not to provide anything to the people they profit from. As Black Americans, or 1st/2nd Gen Immigrants from black countries, we can partner with each other and have the potential to create so much.
The point you made about how developing nations have the heart, and developed ones have the resources and connections to make the heart's desire a reality is so accurate. I hope that more people like yourself start coming forward, so that we can all start to partner and create something good, healthy, and beautiful for ourselves.
Listen that was a whole word!!! Amen 😁🙏🏾
