Jason has official been invited to join the next AFoOL podcast to talk about BL. You know how, and when, hopefully you see this comment before hand. LOL
Well you already filmed the next episode before this comment was made. So I don’t think it’s possible to be on the next one, unless I can steal doc brown’s Delorian. Maybe I could make episode 99 though.
So I’m trying to piece together the Nebulon B and the Fez hats in light bluish grey are about $6 each. One of those little parts that looks insignificant but not in any sets currently. And it’s not a train set
Hello guys! Mind suggesting quite a topic to discuss: what are you think about city planner software? In my opinion, a dream modular city planning app could allow to: - select official modular sets to place in the city - select Rebrickable mocs to place in the city - upload your mocs to place in the city - manage buildings: is it MILS-plated/ have lights/ is yet to buy/ or moc yet to be built - create other variants of the layout using the same buildings library - simplify adding your sets by connecting to your Brickset account - maybe preview your city in 3D to *feel* it better? - or share a link to others to look at? - or even collaborate together? But is there are real need for this? Is there are demand? Would you by yourself using this?
😂🤣😂🤣😂 Alex's face expression trying Vita Malz - marvelous!!! Yes, Alex, "we" do drink that (well, I don't, but I do not hate it either): You find it in EVERY German supermarket. It was most famous in the 80s, and back than I had it once in a while. In those days even restaurants had it on their menus. today they don't. Oh, and we have sticky malty candy called Bayrisch Blockmalz. That was also famous in the 80s, but I haven't seen it for a while. Oh, and: Prost, Jason!
Alex, my ambassador, can you ask why we continue to get rereleases of Star Wars sets but why can’t we get a rerelease of the cafe corner. You know how many they could sell. That could be a mid year modular
Vita Malt!! Yeah I grew up with it, though I think it was more liked by my German friends (who also pushed the coarse mustards). I figured it was the equivalent of Root Beer in the states, which I don't like either.
Hey you’ll, this is Lego Chris. I’m sitting here at Cafe Corner with the wife and found out no Vitamalz on the menu? This was one of my favorite drinks in Germany. Time to import some.
20:43 @Jason Sets with lights? Maybe Funwhole? Anyway, sounds interesting. I like seeing what non-Lego sets there are. Some are too different from Lego if you are used to "the Lego style" to fit into a Lego collection. And some are of lower quality. But at the same time there is some nice stuff out there!
Unrelated but for nostalgic Nunes What’s your thought on C.H.I.P.s. Been binging lately, so good. I hope you now have the theme music stuck in your head.
Hi Guys, loving the show! I just finished building my Lego studio in my backyard. It was suppose to be 10’ x 20’ attached to house by a doorway where a kitchen window currently is. No plumbing or hvac…..$120,000. It actually is 10’x 13’ not attached to house $36,000. Classified as a shed so it doesn’t affect my property taxes.
Alex, speaking of the Icons Countach rumors, the one Icons car I wanna see released within the next few years is a Mazda MX-5 Miata Roadster, preferably the 1st Gen w/ the pop-up headlights. Literally the only people who hate Miatas are people who think horsepower is all that matters in a sports car, when that's not what the Miata's about
Nuts, it looks like there's just no LUG at all in my area.. It'd be cool to go to nifty events and such like that, but there's no LUG and no Lego stores anywhere around here.
Okay, on the exclusive minifigs topic, someone in the poll said "If I'm buying a $X huge Lego set, I want to get something exclusive." ...Yeah, you do. You get a giant Lego set. Let the rest of us who can't afford those also have the little plastic minifigures. Why should a UCS set even have minifigs at all? Unless it's actually minifig scale, like the Millennium Falcon or AT-AT. I get the feeling that with some exceptions, people's opinion on exclusive minifigs in big sets probably depends on if they can afford said big sets.
Hay guys with regards to alternative sets i really enjoy seeing these sets although they don't fit with my collection however I still appreciate the effort that you go to! Space cmf i collected nearly the whole series almost 2 weeks early. It nice when my local shop owner messaged me to sell them early! TAKE MY MONEY! I really like them and of course now have all the babies on their mini ships! Oh and iron brew is made with iron gerders. Its a Scottish thing like haggis 😁 Ok better go ive rambled for long enough 🫨
Great video! I am getting back into watching again (the 3rd or 4th “again”, hopefully this is the last time I say this. I want to stay current more often.😂 and by the way, Alex’s card will be filled out twice for each Jason card.😅
1:15:46 Ballasting my layout the way I do does not use nearly as many pieces, but I know that it is not as popular a look. Good thing it's my layout and I like it, nothing against anybody else's ballasting.
I’m wondering whether it would be prudent for Jason to start a separate channel for non-Lego content so that on the off chance in future that he wants to get on the LAN, he won’t have to scrub his channel of all the non-Lego content.
On the Space CMFs, I'm pretty disappointed with them. I would have hoped for new minifigures that look like cool, updated versions of classic ones. Not "Mutant Blacktron guy" but like, "Blacktron Commando", "Space Police II Patrolman", "U.F.O. Android", "Insectoids SuperMajor", RoboForce, Spyruis, Ice Planet, Exploriens... "Forestmen Guy who got Abducted by Aliens and just went with it".
Alex, even before you tried the Vita Malz I knew you’d find it disgusting, cause it is! (Funny to watch your reaction though, so familiar) No idea how it can stay on the market. There are also other types of Malz (malt) beers in Germany. I see them on the shelves but have never seen anyone buy them. Seeing as regular beer is considered a food here, maybe this is training for kids so when they turn 15 their taste bud are ready for real beer.
I'm not into microscale stuff, honestly, but the hospital looks neat. I just prefer minifigure scale builds. Anyway; I wanted to bring up something. It's kind of a pet peeve of mine: I personally do not like it when Lego content creators brag a lot and do all these huge hauls; I just don't like that kind of behaviour and I think it sets a bad example when it comes to unrealistic spending for the average Lego fan. I was wondering what you guys' thoughts are on this.
So are we absolutely certain that the new Rex is truly exactly the same? I truly don’t know. Even if they change a single line or two on the figure at least they would be different.
What Lego needs to do is make a Star Wars CMF Set, because their are A LOT of Star Wars characters from the movies to Clone Wars to the Video Games that haven't gotten the love that they needed like for example Cal Kestis from the Jedi: Fallen Order and Jedi: Survivor games that came out, we got the BD-1 Droid as a set and nothing else, no Cal Kestis, no Maren, no Cera Junda, HELL we didn't even get a Ninth Sister, just a mini BD-1 Droid along with its big brother and that's it, I hate it when Lego only makes sets for things like the Star Wars Series like Ahsoka or Kenobi, yeah we got Darth Malak from the new R2 set and ARC Trooper Fives from the Tantive hallway scene from A New Hope and I heard we might be getting a Saul Gerra with a new set coming out, but we need more then just Lego sets that are coming out with these special Mini-figs, we need a CMF Series for Star Wars characters that we never seen before but have been in the shows or movies like Clone Wars.
And I would also like to see a TRON CMF Series be made, The TRON franchise needs more Love also, it could have characters from BOTH the original TRON movie and TRON: LEGACY in it, HELL That CMF series can even have characters from the TRON: EVOLUTIION X-box game and from the TRON: UPRISING cartoon series also if they do it, because I would really like to have a TRON Grid Sentry from the TRON: LEGACY movie be made.
Yes, i like vita malz but its a sweet beer without alcohol. I think this is a german thing. In my case I can't drink these energy drinks that you drink. That's more of an American thing. it's all a question of character
Sooo... which one of you is the Borderlands fan??? Jason mentioned the "Nunes Wildlife Preserve" which reminds me of the wildlife exploitation preserve, but Alex has the Torgue water bottle 🤔 I am a mega borderlands fan! To Jasons question 23:25 I recently got my first two requests to showcase products on my channel. You should do what you feel is best for you and your channel. If you want to do it, i say go for it! Forget what anyone else says, it's your content, your channel. I really like your non-lego reviews etc. There are 10,000,000 lego reviews. Not so much for off-brand products
Jason should come on the AFOOL podcast and ask his burning questions about running a Bricklink store. Figuring out shipping is up there
Jason has official been invited to join the next AFoOL podcast to talk about BL. You know how, and when, hopefully you see this comment before hand. LOL

Who’s old enough to remember pay phones, collect calls, and $1.99 CMFs?
So I’m trying to piece together the Nebulon B and the Fez hats in light bluish grey are about $6 each. One of those little parts that looks insignificant but not in any sets currently. And it’s not a train set

A collect call!! LOL The only place that people make a collect from now, is JAIL!!! LOL
I got a realtor ad on this video that highlighted “space” - coincidence?
8:20 The Hospital really looks like a hospital. That oramge wind hose on the roof looks cool!
Alex, my ambassador, can you ask why we continue to get rereleases of Star Wars sets but why can’t we get a rerelease of the cafe corner. You know how many they could sell. That could be a mid year modular
That's a great question. I shall ask.
My favourite part about microscale is making small pieces look big
Vita Malt!! Yeah I grew up with it, though I think it was more liked by my German friends (who also pushed the coarse mustards). I figured it was the equivalent of Root Beer in the states, which I don't like either.
You guys should have viewers mail in snacks from different regions so Alex can try a variety of mail in food, try doing a poll
And now I can’t get Big Yellow Taxi out of my head!
Hey you’ll, this is Lego Chris. I’m sitting here at Cafe Corner with the wife and found out no Vitamalz on the menu? This was one of my favorite drinks in Germany. Time to import some.
We'll see about getting a supply of those in the city for you.

Wait. I’m in the lan. I had no idea. They must have misplaced my lan prize. Lol
Will be back Next Sunday A.D.
alex i really hope you get that BL set - you deserve it.

I would love re-releases. They could make them with different parts. So you could tell if it's re-releases or original.
Not a contract. Beautiful words to remove pressure
The Hospital Looks Great Keep it up!!!

they have done sets unchanged before example 6350 pizza to go from 1994 and 10036 pizza to go from 2002
Oh man. Love my Laserdisc! Yes, but only Han shot!

Jason, I know a couple guys that can help you with your store. LOL Yeah I am the new guy to BL!!!
