- Brickslopes 2024 came and went. It was a blast. I met so many great people at the convention. In this video I take a moment to talk about my experience and some of the neat tokens of appreciation fellow AFOLs give each other at the con.

Many of us have awkward moments, but only the very special get awarded for such moments! Congratz on that achievement😁 Lovely to hear about details, like those little tokens people give out. The tiles you and Jason had made are very cool!
Thanks for talking about the whole experience. I'm looking forward to your thoughts on the Art of Chocolate now that you've seen it irl as that is a BDP set that is on my mind.

It was a great escape from the craziness of real life. I am looking forward to teh build on that BDP set.

All those personalized things are really cool. I've never been to a Lego show, it looks like a lot of fun. All sorts of cool stuff. I hope you guys left a tile for whoever did the Calvin and Hobbes art, that was awesome. 😀

Really?! Bought that set for 75 from Costco and haven't opened it up yet. Now I'm split on ever opening it up to put together.
60440 is retiring in the end of 2025.

I was very late to the sale, didn't see anything I wanted though.
Had a good time myself. Really disappointed with the lack of retired sets there though at the vendors. I probably won't go again as long as I have to travel from out of town. If I were local, I'd go every time for sure.

Always thought when you pay/register to display your sets/mocs, you have a table spot reserved? I guess it's 1st come 1st serve, kind of free for all sort of thing?

Just tired from all the fun. I am not used to being on my feet that much and I was constantly talking to people. Wouldn't have it any other way though.
Are there any rules about giving away tokens of appreciation? Like how many one gives away to others? 1? 5? 10? As many as you like? (As many as you can bring with you?😊)
No rules that I am aware of. I think they encourage us to give away as many as we want. It's also a good way to network with other AFOLs.

He messed my name up multiple times. And even after practicing all day Sunday, he still messed up during closing ceremonies.
You should have got 10 LEGO sets with how much he messed your name up.
