It’s January 17, 2024, and I am listening to this perfectly sang masterpiece. And I don’t think new generation “singers” (as what they call themselves) could understand the artistry of this performance. NO AUTOTUNE needed, raw voice and no lip sync
I met Sheena at the Allentown Fairgrounds and the next performance at the Resorts Casino in Atlantic city. Had her autograph a Martin E28 Guitar that was eventually stolen with 17 more autographs on it.

She is one of my favorites of all time. Great voice and absolutely gorgeous I did get to meet her before a show, during the show I was sitting dead center in the front row and when she sang " For your eyes Only" she was looking directly at me. One of the highlights of my life , Some great moments like that you NEVER forget.

she is TRULY a Beautiful Lady and a GORGEOUS voice... I just listened to some recent videos of her and she looks and sounds INCREDIBLE still in 2023!
The expression that they used was that she made love to the camera, and she certainly did. The way she used to spin her head around suddenly staring right at you got me every time.
40 years later and this stands the test of time. She runs over, knocks out this song perfectly with her pure, beautiful voice and perfect diction - it’s much harder to sing than it looks - then runs back to Joan. And she looks fabulous.
The hair. The outfit. Perfection, but neither top this song, a forgotten piece of pop history, and the pitch-perfect vocal performance--a great reminder of Sheena Easton's undeniable talent.
She is absolutely breathtaking, she sang this LIve! She sang this song LIVE! She emotes and makes you feel ever lyric! No gimmicks,no backgrounds, Her talent and voice, front and center!
begining and established singers take note! A true testimony of raw talent and charisma. This is a performance worth studying.

@Nenethegreat W Hey anyone can sing but, I believe he is referring to vocal capability and tonality of 70's - 90's music... And if you have grudges towards this type of music don't even try to hate, we have different tastes of music or genre whatever you prefer to call it.
My all time favorites Debbie Harry, Olivia Newton John and Sheena Easton. America's sweet hearts for a long time but I think Sheena Easton was the one with the most outstanding voice.
This was when music was music and love songs meant something. Love them 80's love songs.

Look up several of Sheena's live performances in her prime and she was near perfect. With Autotune, so few singers today can perform their songs so close to their original recordings (Adele, comes to mind). This and Kenny Rodgers and her in "We've Got Tonight" are some of my favorites.

And boy did he ever! This is when she went from demure little Sheena to smokin’ hot Sheena. She was so friggin hot! She had the goods. She sang like an angel and she gave the best live performances. They don’t sing live like this anymore.
