Clearly the most beautiful woman to ever live. This song came out in January of 1992. I was sad and young and lonely and hopeless. I heard this song while working at a bar/restaurant. It was late evening. There was light snow in a place that rarely ever has snow. And the woman who sings this song that night didn't, couldn't know it, but by her song, she gave me romance and the idea of love and happiness and hope. And now it's been a long time since then and maybe there was no real reason to hope for happiness after all. But that night I felt it and have never forgotten it. Thanks, V You'll always be my Miss America.
She would have looked even more beautiful, here, if they hadn't tried to thin her lips by painting inside the natural lip ine. Should only mess around with lip lines if someone's lips are very uneven and even then, only with extreme caution.
A lot of 90's melody (like this) was very much piano, beautiful voice and dreamy romance vibes. We grew up as kids believing this is what life was about. Guys, we lived some of the best musical times, ever produced. I shall cherish them.
As a typical compound African boy I never understood this song in 90's, but i felt peace, love and calmness each time this song played, now in my 40's understanding it absolutely still invokes peace, love and calmnes to my soul. I really LOVE it. Thanks to God for the gift of music !!!
Everyone has a unique quality from God and we can't have everything, But although this was my favorite song as a child I thought she was just very pretty
it's so trendy to say "insane" in place of the educated & proper words: great/tremendous/profound. We're living in the Plant of the Fools... Oh, and "Amazing" is pretty overused, isn't it. It's almost as if it's a Band-Aid for a lack of vocabulary.
@@dennisclark1767 Dear Sir Clark, Every normal human being sympathizes with the loss of a loved one. Your statement to your angel wife brought tears to my eyes because on my side, I have never heard or read my father (who is no longer of this world) make this kind of statement to my mom. Men who dare to declare their love are so precious to me. When I see fathers and husbands who make the necessary efforts to make their family or wife happy, it restores my faith in humanity. The quality of soft rock adult contemporary music that was made in the 80s and 90s will remain unparalleled and irreplicable

First time hearing and I’m in tears. So sad that they don’t make songs like this anymore
Me too since I was 8 years old that year
The tears roll down my cheeks when she says "how could you give your love to someone else and share your dreams with me." Absolutely beautiful.

How can we not be listening to something so perfect? Vanessa Williams voice is always going to sound in my ears.
@@tsekoivanov agree 💓🎵 it's so beautiful
She was sooo beautiful. I mean still is. It’s funny seeing her in hallmark movies playing such bitchy characters lol. Wonder what it’s like to be this beautiful with an incredible voice 🤔
Hands down, her. BEST song!!!!!!!!!!!
Dreamin' is her best song, this is her second best song.
Totally agree! 💯🎯

Thanks, V
You'll always be my Miss America.
This song is timeless, it could be from any decade and still be as beautiful

Today we are not allowed to tell a woman she's beautiful. Sad!
This is such a beautiful song and even more beautiful watching her singing it. Awesome video.
Justin Cooper Heyy I've covered this on my channel I'd really appreciate you taking your time to listen 😊
I wish I could turn back time. 80s love songs were the best.
This came out in 1991
All these years later, this song still gives me butterflies! Perfect performance, perfect production! It’s timeless.
Hello Garland 👋👋 How are you doing and how's the weather over there ?
@@nelsonwayne6997 Hello Nelson! Inordinate amount of rain this past weekend but back to typical today. How about in your neck of the woods?
Production is Perfect which I why I’m such a ballad freak! Lol. Another good one is “The Voice Within”
Of course, we have to ignore the fact that the two things that start the damn song do NOT happen ever.
@@fuzzytalz the weather here's great and perfect
One of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. Vanessa Williams has a gorgeous voice and she is a stunning beauty!
Success is sometimes the best revenge. She remains beautiful and gracious and conducts her life in role modeling quality.
She really is gorgeous, I've been binge watching Ugly Betty and even with all the wickedness she's strikingly beautiful!

You're right
Everytime...the tears
timeless, romance always is, special song and tone makes your heart sigh, all the best xrich and preeyax
She was a beauty queen tho
Absolutely...... I understood it then, I understand it now even better. Age definitely makes u wiser n appreciate things more.
you just grew up and evolved
you sound like a lovely human being, god bless you
And God gave us war.
You had your own lyrics
An absolutely amazing talent.
People were so focused on her beauty they neglected her immense gifts and insane abilities.
Basically she had everything. Wonderful beauty and a wonderful voice. A young mans dream really
*Disclaimer* - this doesn't mean she isn't incredibly beautiful. It means a masterpiece like this got lost in her beauty.
Not me. I enjoyed all she gave us

Dear Sir Clark,
Every normal human being sympathizes with the loss of a loved one. Thank you sir for warming my heart. Your wife from where she is (in paradise) must be proud of you! You deserve happiness even if it's hard not to share it with your loved one anymore!

David Leonard it’s a beautiful song.
It;s so sad that we'll no longer have megahits with this type of ballad these days. Oh, how music had evolved. Gone are the days of powerful love songs and love ballads.
I totally agree how music and relationships have changed...sad
Hard out agree ❤
I hate almost all the new music in America today. It's all garbage rap or junk curse words. I can't remember a song I've heard recently that sounds as good as the 90s
@@unskillfullymasterful Try some Lumineers or Home Free or Peter Hollins. Those are newer singers that are pretty good. I get what your saying majority of modern music is crap. But you can sometimes find newer stuff that is good. Vanessa Carlton her song "Thousand Miles" is early 2000s and is pretty great.

I'm 18 and I like 90's music. They are simply the best. I don't care what anyone says.
I'm 41 and I'll confirm that 90s is 2nd best. 80s is #1. I'll almost agree, I'm sure 70s and 60s have an argument.
The 2000s is decent but I feel bad for 2000s and 2010s kids. They missed alot
Too bad you missed out during those times but yes 80s and 90s were the best music era!!! Not like today's trash...
