- Опубліковано 7 сер 2019
- In-Place Test methods to estimate concrete strength has been extremely popular among engineers and inspectors involved in the field of structure inspection, evaluation and condition assessment. Various non-destructive methods have been developed by different researchers over the past few decades to assess in-place strength of concrete. The rebound hammer, developed by Ernst Schmidt, provides an inexpensive and quick method for nondestructive testing and evaluation of the hardness of concrete. In this video we will review the rebound hammer, how it works, and how rebound number is determined.

Amazing practical explanation!!
Nice testing
Thank you
Good
Do you need to correct your rebound values? if yes, how do you do that?
Does this measure thickness? Can yoi estimate thickness with this?
Are u still available ; how do we connect with you
Can you do this in repaired concrete using grout repair material?
No, grout has different Material and resistance than the concrete itself that we are looking to check it resistance.
@@MohamedHediBouazizi what if the grout repair material is what we need to test? Example, a 900mm thick foundation with a hole of 300mm deep and a diameter of 450mm filled with grout. No sample was taken during grouting, can we use this rebound hammer testcto check the grout?
