I think if we square the velocity(m/s) and then multiply it by the density of concrete we will get the modulus of elasticity of concrete in N/m^2 🤔 Because the velocity is also expressed as V=√(E/density) For V=4.010 km/sec. , It comes out to be 39339694 kg/mm^2 in compression.
@@hirdeshrawat9363 , i was wrong . Density = 24KN/m^3 = (24×1000)/(9.81×1000^3) = 2.44 × 10^(-6) kg/mm^3 Velocity in the test = 4.010 km/sec. = 4.010 ×1000×1000 mm/sec. This quantity comes out to be huge (39339694 kg/mm^2) . The actual relation which i recently learned was between initial tangent modulus of elasticity ,mass density of concrete, poissons ratio and velocity of pulse is given as E= [p(1+u)(1-2u)V^2]/(1-u) p = mass density of concrete = 2500 kg/m^3 u = poissons ration = 0.1-0.3 V= velocity of pulse by UPV test.
