They did make the guardian speak a bit. After Cayde-6 dies in Forsaken, Ikora and Zavala are arguing about killing Uldren Sov (Cayde's Killer) and the guradian says, "You don't have to. Uldren Sov is mine." After that your guardian agrees to Spider's deal with, "Deal." That's as far as I got. But the comment I'm replying to is 11 months old (As of now). So, i just wasted 5 minutes of my life.

Watching this again makes me feel nostalgic, because of all the recent events in Destiny 2 season of the lost and relating to Osiris. Seeing and hearing him again makes me realize I should have known sooner about Savathun. To hoping we get him back, cheers.
Love how when Cayde ghost got shot there was like this huge buildup and it was the most difficult shot ever and then a random vex goblin shoots Osiris’s ghost out midair after being thrown by a guardian
I wanted to say that you are my favorite type of cutscene movie UA-camrs. A lot of them only splice together the cutscenes but you include the bits of conversation during the gameplay which we often need to understand what is happening in the next cutscene. So thank you, for the work you put into putting this together.
I wonder if the traveler can rebuild it for osiris or give him an exact replica, I mean if saint-14 can be rebuilt 14 times than surely the traveler should be able to do the same with the ghosts

Funny. Cayde was stuck in the tower. We brought him out once and he fucking died. Osiris prefers to be stuck in the forest. He returned to the tower and he almost fucking dies, save for Sagira who sacrificed herself.
Looking back, that turn around to glance at Ikora at 42:50 means so much more than just a glance. So much left unspoken, but Osiris still communicates it - and Ikora understands. Maybe the rift isnt mended, but it is healing.
Thanks for the putting together the movie on UA-cam. You did it masterfully. No BS, to the point. Thumbs up for you. As for the dlc by Bungie, they still don't have enough emphasis on the cutscenes, the story and characters. Bungie's stories in Destiny are like a couple of cutscenes and some brief dialogue drowned by long shooting sessions. Not my cup of tea beyond the brief watch on UA-cam.

problem for 4 reasons. 1: We saw Osiris' other dimension selves with those echoes. 2: The Exo was a female. 3: Osiris is a human, not a Exo. and 4: the Stranger wasn't egyptian themed.

That’s why warlock are like support mages, titans are like tanks or the defense of the fire team and hunters are attackers they based all of this on like an mmorpg kinda game but it’s first person open world lol

Destiny 2 has been such an amazing journey so far. So glad to have played the content from the start. I always come back to these videos for the nostalgia.
Turned Ikora into a bully, Brother Vance into a pussy fanboy, Legendary Osiris with about the same screentime as the Exo Stranger, A Vex Hydra with arms for a Final Boss and a campaign that lasts an hour and a half; not to mention the ending felt like the Black Garden 2.0
Oh im sorry that "failure" was on the list of requirements for a small DLC. Even if it wasnt massive, the way they executed the DLC was pure trash. You can make a 20$ DLC and still have it enjoyable. And if it wasnt enjoyable, at least there is new content and you arent being forced... unless you're Curse of Osiris, where the loot you got after is locked behind Eververse, re-hashed exotics, and Heroic strikes and Prestige Leviathan are inaccessible to anyone who doesnt pay 20$. This wasnt a time or resource issue, this was corporate greed.
Say what you will, I loved this expansion. It wasn’t great for content (especially where it was in Destiny 2 when it released) but the story was great and the raid was a blast
I wish this expansion was the size of forsaken or even shadowkeep. Osiris is such a interesting character and they could have done so much more with him.
I wish that I could have played this. I know that the campaign wasn't that long, and that the expansion in general was too small, but as a lore nerd this is amazing.
Those who know about Savuthun will know that there is a chance Sahara can come back, we have her she’ll and with the abilities of Darkness and light combined and knowing the light can be given to all (due to the Fallen having it at one point and Ghaul stealing it, and then the Hive) it is possible to resurrect guardians and Ghosts since The Final Shape confirms Cayde-6 comes back even though him and his Ghost died. Meaning Sagira and Osiris might also make a comeback if Destiny 3 is a thing or a future DLC.
I am very amused by the fact that as soon as you saw Panoptes, you started shooting. A true Guardian's first instinct. Not hide or find cover, not run for your life, but put bullets in it.
I really love the music the lore and the cutscenes. I just wish all this stuff plus Destiny 2’s vanilla story could’ve just been packed into Destiny 1. The gameplay is far too similar for me to want to get Destiny 2, and I enjoyed the old exotics better. Also female ghost is much better.
He’s a Guardian, the Light can’t be simulated perfectly, so no he didn’t predict the Cosmodrome Guardians revival, and rise of power in a few short years.. He expects a Guardian alive for more than thousands of years not a dude who outshines every other Guardian there is in two.
Ikora "Will have to throw you off this wall..." Despite your character literally saving EVERYONE in the main story...and pretty much being overpowered with max gear...but sure...she'll throw you off the wall xD xD
Looking back, I kinda wish our ghosts would tell us where most attacks are coming from or just enemies and what they are. Ooh, their stats would be nice like "I'm picking up hive signatures. Maybe something arc this time?" Kind of how when Drifter speaks of them, he says to bring a sword. Idk. I admire the lengths they go to have our ghosts do the talking, but they could always do more. I'm not complaining but visualizing.
+Tsuko Para Brother Vance is now a weird 13 year old fanboy when he used to be calm and the host of trials of Osiris. Ikora can suddenly use void energy anyway she wants which makes absolutely no sense lore wise. There are a couple of things about Osiris in the old grimoire cards that contradict his portrayal here. Not to mention the story gaps here like how come Ikora didn't just come with us in the first place to open the gate instead of making us do three story missions.
How? Saint-14 was Osiris' adoptive brother and speaker was his adoptive father. Saint-14 was buried in a tomb out of respect from the vex. How was his portrayal butchered? As far as I saw he was still obsessed with the vex, still exiled, still left off on bad terms with Ikora previously. Brother vance is not a fanboy he is a follower, one of many.
The Infinite Garden, a place that has the ability to create any scenario and landscape.... creates the same scenarios everytime you enter it. Also you never get to enter it without having to do a strike...
idk why people shit on this dlc so much. i loved curse of osiris. the vex theme was cool as hell, i love osiris, ikora doing shit was cool, n the boss was fucking amazing n one of my favorite boss fights in the game
That's it? Short campaign, same old big Vex final boss, short screentime of cool characters, fanboy Vance, reskins, no Saint-14, nothing is based on the lore, barely any added lore about Osiris, cliché 'I rather stay here instead of going with you like normal people would' ending, no new Speaker and or any information about him( he was Osiris' mentor), no 6V6 and no important and cool added lore. And they were also too lazy to give Osiris some hair.
They casted saint aside as an Easter egg you can see in an adventure... look at any D2 UA-camr... they are such lazy people to kill saint off the way they did

Destiny 2 has been such an amazing journey so far. So glad to have played the content from the start.
I always come back to these videos for the nostalgia.
Turned Ikora into a bully, Brother Vance into a pussy fanboy, Legendary Osiris with about the same screentime as the Exo Stranger, A Vex Hydra with arms for a Final Boss and a campaign that lasts an hour and a half; not to mention the ending felt like the Black Garden 2.0

Oh im sorry that "failure" was on the list of requirements for a small DLC. Even if it wasnt massive, the way they executed the DLC was pure trash. You can make a 20$ DLC and still have it enjoyable. And if it wasnt enjoyable, at least there is new content and you arent being forced... unless you're Curse of Osiris, where the loot you got after is locked behind Eververse, re-hashed exotics, and Heroic strikes and Prestige Leviathan are inaccessible to anyone who doesnt pay 20$. This wasnt a time or resource issue, this was corporate greed.

Those who know about Savuthun will know that there is a chance Sahara can come back, we have her she’ll and with the abilities of Darkness and light combined and knowing the light can be given to all (due to the Fallen having it at one point and Ghaul stealing it, and then the Hive) it is possible to resurrect guardians and Ghosts since The Final Shape confirms Cayde-6 comes back even though him and his Ghost died. Meaning Sagira and Osiris might also make a comeback if Destiny 3 is a thing or a future DLC.

I really love the music the lore and the cutscenes. I just wish all this stuff plus Destiny 2’s vanilla story could’ve just been packed into Destiny 1. The gameplay is far too similar for me to want to get Destiny 2, and I enjoyed the old exotics better. Also female ghost is much better.

That feel when I'm here watching this because I joined Destiny 2 right after all this content got vaulted.
Looking back, I kinda wish our ghosts would tell us where most attacks are coming from or just enemies and what they are. Ooh, their stats would be nice like "I'm picking up hive signatures. Maybe something arc this time?" Kind of how when Drifter speaks of them, he says to bring a sword. Idk. I admire the lengths they go to have our ghosts do the talking, but they could always do more. I'm not complaining but visualizing.
man the story telling was actually good, if only the loot was there to compensate, it wouldn't get as much bad press as it is now.

This was a awesome expansion, my favorite part is where you get fight with Osiris at the end, and I really like the design they did for him.

+Tsuko Para Brother Vance is now a weird 13 year old fanboy when he used to be calm and the host of trials of Osiris. Ikora can suddenly use void energy anyway she wants which makes absolutely no sense lore wise. There are a couple of things about Osiris in the old grimoire cards that contradict his portrayal here. Not to mention the story gaps here like how come Ikora didn't just come with us in the first place to open the gate instead of making us do three story missions.

Saint-14 was Osiris' adoptive brother and speaker was his adoptive father. Saint-14 was buried in a tomb out of respect from the vex. How was his portrayal butchered? As far as I saw he was still obsessed with the vex, still exiled, still left off on bad terms with Ikora previously. Brother vance is not a fanboy he is a follower, one of many.

idk why people shit on this dlc so much. i loved curse of osiris. the vex theme was cool as hell, i love osiris, ikora doing shit was cool, n the boss was fucking amazing n one of my favorite boss fights in the game
That's it? Short campaign, same old big Vex final boss, short screentime of cool characters, fanboy Vance, reskins, no Saint-14, nothing is based on the lore, barely any added lore about Osiris, cliché 'I rather stay here instead of going with you like normal people would' ending, no new Speaker and or any information about him( he was Osiris' mentor), no 6V6 and no important and cool added lore. And they were also too lazy to give Osiris some hair.
