I come back here every so often. This video is one of my comfort places as times get stressful. It is a reminder that I should continue forward, and to strive to live my best life, just like jun, and just like his cats.

Yes!! Definitely a beautifully skilled artist and his subject is food!!!! Just like god masterfully crafted everything, Jun does the same with most everything he does. How well his cats are trained his beautiful videography the way he treats his wife cats and everyone else and then his food!!! Just pure talent and skill!
it takes practice but also you have to have a very sharp knife to make quick and clean cuts. a lot of people don't really need to maintain their knives in the same way that he would.
@@princessjello I thought I had a good knife set but DAMN his must be off the chains good. But I understand why-while I enjoy cooking, I just don't enjoy it on the level he must to maintain his knives and get such high quality knives at that. The way he cooks is indeed like an art, where I just try and make different meals during this quarantine to try new things, he really really enjoys it and it's easy to see that. I'd probably enjoy cooking more if my cat didn't try and get in in on the action every time I cook lol. I try and place him up on the fridge so he can watch safely, but he just jumps right back onto the counter and I spend half the time worrying about him lol.

It's pretty easy to do with dragonflies. If you wave your finger in a circular motion while slowly moving your hand towards a dragonfly, it will become "hypnotized" and super docile as a result. I think it has to do with the way their compound eyes work.
Poki is so well behaved these days. It wasn't long ago you had to lock him in a room to shoot a video and you could hear him meowing behind the door. I'm loving this.

Then again I think it's going a bit far to asume he reacted a certain way, because some other people would do so. That is a bit stereotypical. For Instance, I am German, however I don't take any offence against jokes about our language, or some specific jokes with historic context to Germanys dark past. My Grandma Ruby made Indian curry for us once. Very involved, including opening and grating a fresh coconut. She used the grated part and the milk to make it. It was absolutely delicious. I don't remember what all she put in it but I DO have the recipe somewhere, along with her recipe for Chicken Pilau.
Jun's videos always make me so envious of him. Like his lifestyle is just so clean and so dream-worthy. Coming home, doing stuff that you find fun and enjoyable, while still making money off it and still have a healthy life thanks to the fresh and clean ingredients he got. What a dream.
When i grow old, I just want to be like Jun, buy & have a chat with local grower, butterfly and dragonfly land on my hand, grow my own veg and hydroponics herbs, cook healthy food with incredible knife skill, talking softly and full of care. I am always left satisfied watching your video. Great production values and theres a lot of thought and care in producing the recipe from gathering ingredients, prepping them and then cooking it to even plating it. The cats and the music and little trips to nature help bring it all in. 13 minutes can go by fast without even realizing it. I grew up to Japanese curry and I still get a craving for its homestyle and rustic flavors!

I watched this when it released, and i always overlooked the opening and skipped to the cooking since it was my interest. But now that i see it as im older, i cannot skip the beauty of the opening. The immense serenity of japan has always captivated me but this video solidified it as a place i would dream to be and/ or live in so thank you for inspiring my number one life long dream.

the opening scenes are always so, so, so relaxing and refreshing, it's hard to explain but the atmosphere and scenery melts into me, like butter on toast it's such a nice feeling... i want a 24 hour compilation of all the gorgeous scenery and, of course, glorious walks of Jun with Haku!!

I'm have a stressful, horrible week. I"m a teacher and COVID is spiraling out of control in our state but all of the kids are returning next week. It's just a mess. Jun's videos always make me so envious of him. Like his lifestyle is just so clean and so dream-worthy. Coming home, doing stuff that you find fun and enjoyable, while still making money off it and still have a healthy life thanks to the fresh and clean ingredients he got. What a dream.
When i grow old, I just want to be like Jun, buy & have a chat with local grower, butterfly and dragonfly land on my hand, grow my own veg and hydroponics herbs, cook healthy food with incredible knife skill, talking softly and full of care.

I am always left satisfied watching your video. Great production values and theres a lot of thought and care in producing the recipe from gathering ingredients, prepping them and then cooking it to even plating it. The cats and the music and little trips to nature help bring it all in. 13 minutes can go by fast without even realizing it. I grew up to Japanese curry and I still get a craving for its homestyle and rustic flavors!

I watched this when it released, and i always overlooked the opening and skipped to the cooking since it was my interest. But now that i see it as im older, i cannot skip the beauty of the opening.
