Thing about this product is it's closer to buying singles than opening a traditional box. For that reason I think it is reasonable to expect a higher ROI which at least this provides for now.
The thing i hate and got sucked into when I started back up is that nobody ever mentions the fees that you would be charged to sell that $4,500 so minus another like $600. Even if selling in person.. nobody pays full comps
I was told that boxes are going a lot higher than 8k, as they sold out the topps lottery at 8k. If you are buying at secondary box prices you need to get very lucky to to win. At the 8k price a pretty high percentage of buyers can end up not too bad.
After you doing the breakdown, the. Numbers don’t look as bad as most box returns. Most boxes return 10-15%. The scary thing about these boxes are the CT Scanning going on. CT Scanjing wipes away all chances of hitting the bigger/valuable cards. Big problem I see is how many buyers will there be in 2 weeks to 2 months from now.

Your tone is negative but your content is solid. I’d add that most buyers of this with a plan to make money will grade their cards. The autos in a psa 10 would increase. I also think the RPAs have huge upside but we don’t know yet. Kobe Eminence was very similar and no one wants to discuss that product with Mercury. Haters imo are envious. I have two unopened in the closet, I think prices for the boxes rise the longer the duel auto chase cards stay in the wild. Some of the 1/1's are probably worth north of $20K, maybe higher. I think alot of this product once the dust settles will be 'in someone's closet' and not opened. Funny how guys like Blez say 'sell the autos' because 6000 autos will hit the market at once and prices will crater, but my guess is that 75% of this product won't be opened right away...
The base cards look expensive even if they only cost me a buck. I'm ok with people over paying for napkin patches. I will give Topps props for using game used gear, but the product isn't for me.
How is the debate of these even being his "rookie card" similar to the Jordan star card? "They aren't pack pulled cards" is the point that always comes up
