@@JumboyEnt Good question. I would also be interested to know how to use the Climate Card from e.g. Seoul Station to Incheon Airport Station back? Can you just get on the train with the card or do you have to talk to the train staff?
Hi, i got my keychain from a CU in Seongsu, it cost the same as a tmoney pass but its just harder to find these days due to high demand Unfortunately the tmoney pass also cannot be used for the KTX specifically BUT you can use it to purchase the KTX ticket
Managed to get the Climate card at the Gyeongbokgung station Information Center. Initially tried scanning the QR code on the packaging regarding registration etc. but failed. Turns out all you have to do is reload at the ticket machines. Simple!!
I came back from Korea a couple weeks ago. I charged my Tmoney (I used the Discover Seoul Pass) with ₩20,000. Then added ₩10,000, then ₩10,000, then ₩5,000. I stayed in Seoul for 10 days. I was going everywhere I could, but obviously, I could not see everything. I stayed in Myeongdong and used both metro and buses. But I did go outside Seoul, like to Nami Island and the Everland park.
Hi I would like to get your recommendation as I will be in Seoul for 8 days (3 days Seoul, 1 day trip to Busan, 1 day trip to Nami Island , 1 day trip to Everland , 2 days Seoul ) Should I get 3 days climate card then use T money card then top up the 2 days climate card
Thanks! Another informative video...Sounds like I should buy separate tickets for my train ride to/from Incheon/Seoul Station and then get a climate card for intercity Seoul transportation
Thanks for the information. We have decided to actually use the Nomane Card for convenience since it handles transit rides and has a feature to switch funds between the transit card and purchase card all in the add plus we can add funds with our credit card on the fly for just a 3% transaction fee. We don't know how much transit we will use because we'll probably use more Kakao Taxi or Uber.
Hi! It's a very informative video, thank you so much! I have few things to ask for confirmation, if you can clarify it: 1. I wonder if I'm going to explore Seoul for 10 days, can I take the Climate Card package 7 days first, then activate again for 3 days? 2. The Climate Card has Tmoney capabilities too right? Meaning, if I plan to go to Suwon (outside Seoul), I can just top up the fare amount to and from Suwom on the Climate Card, and tap the Climate Card as usual Tmoney card? Is my understanding is correct? 3. I heard recently the card's usage has been extended for transporation from Seoul to Incheon Airport. Can it be used for both Express and All Stops Train, or only All Stop Train? Thank you 😊
I will be travelling in November 24, I'm thinking getting the discover seoul pass, however I haven't understood if it includes the transportation or not, should I also get the climate card?
Hey @PhatlifeProject To follow up this question - if I stay in seoul for 3 days and climate card costs 10000 won, so my question is- would it be enough for transportation if I top up my discover Seoul pass for 10000 won instead?
It depends on what you're doing this trip, I outline the differences between a wowpass and the climate card in this video - ua-cam.com/video/_BR5vTI9Xq8/v-deo.htmlsi=eqtOmUqoCaiXY1V8 Note - wowpass is basically tmoney with money exchange function You can get your wowpass here - bit.ly/wowpassSteve and also choose to use code PHATLIFEPROJECTKLOOK to get a further 10% OFF your purchase Have fun!
Thank you for the new video guide! 2 questions if you don't mind. 1. How does the counting of days work for the Climate Card? Does the validity start at the time you first use it (like Discover Seoul) or does it count as day 1 when you load it? 2. Can you top up the Climate Card in convenience stores like T-Money? Since I plan to top up again a day after it expires, would come in handy to know this. After watching your other guide on all the transportation card options, I am planning to use both climate card and t-money. Will be staying in Seoul for my whole trip (8 days) but I plan to do a day trip to Suwon in the middle and then go back to Seoul for more sightseeing. Just trying to see how that would work for me. Thanks in advance :)
Hi Steve, I knows it's kind weird but would like to ask you, (fyi - i have watch ur video ) able to guide easy way frm Incheon Airport to Busan? It's my 1st time travelling to Korea so not sure how to get around. Thanks

Thanks for sharing! My wife and I are going to Seoul this November. We are thinking of getting one Wowpass for our shopping and money exchange. Before watching your video, we thought we would use the T-Money card that come with the Wowpass as well for local transportation. However, after watching your youtube, we may change our mind of getting a Climate Card instead for unlimited transportation and do not have to worry about loading money into T-Money wallet in the Wowpass. What do you think? So should I use the T-Money in the Wowpass instead?
If you're mainly in Seoul then the Climate card is definitely worth it but its just harder to find these days I would get a climate card and wowpass only if you have the need to exchange money while in Korea Enjoy your trip!
Going to South Korea next year in April! I am looking for a card which is similar to the one in Japan, where I can use it to pay for any public transportation, or even at convenience stores, where I simply need to charge it. I am planning to also visit other cities in Korea besides Seoul, which one would you recommand? As there is the T Money Card, the Climate Card, the Wow Card, and the Korea Tour Card, so many! haha
In the end most tourists might still need both unless you plan to stay only within Seoul. If you plan to go to say Suwon and use the busses there and the train back to Seoul then the Climate Card will not work.
i agree - most probably will depending on their trip itinerary, thankfully the climate card can just be reused as a TMoney card once the Climate card package has expired
