Those jetties that are in the background or what appear to be jetties anyway, can you fish from them somewhere or is that spot Only more easily accessible by boat?
Hi, You can access the South Jetties at St Augustine from Anastasia State Park. That is the area you see in the background. You can also access the North Jetties from the Vilano Beach access.
I usually go with a 1/4 oz jig and a live shrimp hooked through the horn. On this trip I changed it up with a #2 circle hook with a #4 split shot about 18" up the leader to keep the shrimp from being pinned to the bottom. It seemed to work.
Love some redfish! Great video!
Not a bad day at all. Good catching and good video!
Good video. Keep it up!
Looks like a good day
It was a very nice day on the water. The fishing didn't start out great, but stopping by the jetties on the way in paid off.
you catch the good one
Looks like a beautiful day to be on the water! Catching fish is just a bonus.
It was a near perfect day on the water weather wise. The stop at the rocks really paid off and was a nice bonus to a great day.
Hello. Great video, thank you. Looks very fun. Can you catch any red snapper within 3 miles of the shore?
I have not found red snapper inside 3 miles, but I imagine it's only a matter of time the way they are taking over everywhere.
Where did you buy your boat brother? I'm headed to St Aug now to look for a 21.
Waylen Bay Marine in St. Augustine. Great people.

Nice day on the water! What rig do you use to fish the shrimp next to the jetties?
