- I visited St. Augustine Florida to fish with another UA-camr, "Miles Away Fishing" for a collab at salt run.
I caught multiple species while Miles was catching the targeted species; sheepshead.
I had a great time fishing with Miles, he is a very knowledgeable angler that has tuned in to the area and has been very successful with catching sheepshead.

Salt Run is a hidden little gem to fish! Nice variety of of fish!!!
It sure is 😃 looking forward to fishing it again
Wowwww he seriously knows how to catch those sheepers!
Great flounder catching on your part, very nice.
I fished the salt run twice while I was there but only caught a couple short flounder. I liked fishing it though!
I know there are some nice holes around there too.
Looking forward to returning and fishing it again.
@@GetOutTheHouseGoFish me tooooo. The day I tried those docks it was super windy and I kept getting blown to hell. Next time though!
Hell yeah
I enjoy both ur channels. One day we have to all get together and do a UA-cam tournament
The Fishing Fool cool idea
Those convicts are tough! I have had some good days and plenty of bad days fishing for them lol.
They sure are; I’m gonna keep trying.
It took me a while to catch one, now to get consistent at it and get some keepers 😃👍🎣
Awesome vid, im out of st. Augustine myself
Thanks; yes I’ve been wanting to come down and fish St. Augustine more 👍🎣
Plenty of action with the sand fleas.
Yes they were loving them 👍🎣
A day spent on the water and a nice flounder for dinner afterwards.
Yes sir 👍🎣
Hoping to get on some bigger sheepshead soon.
Had a great time out there catching multiple species.
Gonna try a place on the river next.
Awesome video! Love St. Augustine...never fished there, but seen lots of gators!
Next time you visit fish salt run; lots of good spots all throughout that area.
If you don’t have a kayak I’m pretty sure they rent them at Anastasia State Park 🎣👍
awesome sheepshead catching tips... do you recall what the water depth was at that time? I know, I'm late to the party... lol
I’m sorry I don’t remember
Great job Mike!!
Thanks Austin 👍🎣
Good stuff brotha, love the fact your a local here in st Augustine. It’s nice to watch and learn from someone that fishes the same waters that I do.
Glad you enjoyed it. I’m always learning new techniques. That was the first time fishing docks with sand fleas and they did pretty well even though I wasn’t catching the targeted species.
Miles limited out using just fidlers 🎣
Miles said you’ll get more sheepshead hitting the fidlers than the other fish.
Turned out true because I was getting multiple species and he was only catching black drum and sheepshead 👍
We all have our ways, a quarter inch jighead death grip is all I use and we catch and win tournaments here in Mississippi you should try it. Your leader to me is too thick. I use Yozuri pink floro carbon
What pound test do you use.
@@GetOutTheHouseGoFish only 15 and 20 when I am around structure. I use a combat knot from 30 miles out videos
Great video. Just wondering why you didn’t use the fiddlers crabs first?
I used them through out the day; kept getting taken and I was alternating between the fidlers and sand fleas; I just kept getting the catches on the fleas and the last catch with the little sheepshead was actually on a Fidler crab
Nice vid man
Thanks
Amazing video!!
Thank you 😊
