- This video can be hard for some to watch. And this is why I'm a proponent for parent empowerment because you aren't going to have a therapist at your house at 11:30pm at night. Kreed got confused for some reason and while his body language was asking for a shower, he used his device to ask to go out to eat. Tried to explain it to him and he escalated. This is the escalation clear to the resolve where off camera he threw a few things and lost his shower which we then talk about. He is calm now watching a movie and preparing for bed. He's aware of his actions. And the consequences.
Even though this footage is hard to watch i just want to point out what simple things we take for granted. Imagine going through your whole life not being able to say how you feel. I can understand his frustration, & I hope he finds peace. Both of you are angels!!! God bless!!!

Who just want to be Included in Society and Accept and to have the Same opportunity’s as You and others Who aren’t Disabled. the world Needs to be better accessibility Kreed Would have wanted that too. the things people do daily the others like you Sadly Rudely Take for granted . Being able to Talk. And not have to buy a Expensive tablet to Use a Automatic Voice to talk for you. He and I at times do have to Use a Tablet To talk.

thank you for sharing. i'm a special needs educator in Malaysia. sadly to say, many of our non verbal students here have no such device to assist them to communicate. anyway, you are doing a great job for guiding him to understand the action and its consequences. hope that Kreed will keep learning and definitely, well done to him too for being calm after that.
I'm glad to finally see this. I tot agree with making him be responsible for his own actions. I see a lot of people that do not try and teach there kids.

I like this channel u teach him responsibility my brother has autism and he can talk well but were getting there
for all the negative and very rude comments that are going around remember this. Kreed could NOT help the way he was. Just like you and me he also had feelings and emotions but could not express those feelings or emotions into words. He lived with his condition 24/7 365 days a year. I do know what autism is like as I have a cousin who has it, although he is able to talk. I did not know him personally, but to get an idea of how nice a person Kreed was just keep working through his videos

He may have had difficulty comprehending his choices on his device which might explain the frustration and the aggressive behavior.
I know a girl that used to go to my school, and her name was Angeline Soderlund. She had seizures and probably autism, so whenever she was angry, she had such an explosive temper, which involved her throwing things (e.g. pencils, backpack, etc.) or making really loud noises (e.g. kicking heater, pounding laundry machine, slamming chairs in, etc.). She scared me quite a few times. There was also another student named Jenny Dana, who was in a wheelchair. She couldn't talk, she was always spitting, and most of the time had loud tantrums herself, which involved her kicking her feet, yelling loudly, and sometimes putting hands on the teacher, too. She used to be in the same grade as me, but is a bit older than me, and she graduated a year before me. Have you guys ever went through the same thing when you guys were at school?

I actually never knew that autism parents deal with this. It's pretty humbling. It has to be a really serious issue when the parents become elderly or injured. Who could you possibly plug into that job overnight?! Even so would the child accept the new person... A whole universe I never knew about.. I'm very sorry for their loss

@@saumpaulinaaaaaaa He had severe health issues that threatened his life and he got sick so easily that he ended up becoming self-injurious. He then got a toxic gene that killed him.

He also could have already taken a shower and it was more of a request then a need that was a preferred activity for my friend so she had to earn extra showers to understand it was a treat😊

That's actually guaranteed way to start a meltdown, especially if they understand what calling the police means. Even mid meltdown it doesn't calm them down it sets them on fire internally. These things don't connect as "if I stop they won't" they connect as "they're going to anyway so I might as well stop holding back". Usually threatening to call the police is just a negative reinforcement that doesn't hold them accountable for their actions.

I understand that his behavior can be frightening, but it's important to remember that he didn't choose to be this way. Autism affects people differently, and severe meltdowns are a part of his experience. Compassion and understanding can go a long way in supporting him.
