I felt for John..... seemed confused and lost. Poor bloke.
He was arrogant, not prepared at all and his argument with Nick was ridiculus. Even at the end he was complaining about the Dragons expecting him to know his numbers.
After Peter savaged him, the rest of the dragons clearly felt sorry for him, and tried to continue out of simple kindness. But after what Peter said, it was clear the poor guy had no chance at all to get a deal.
Turns out John bet someone £45k he could get a dog to crap on the Dragons Den floor and not be escorted out.

You can’t ring excuses to the show “I can’t remember all the figures” simply just a number of product you can sell per year that is the first thing you are dealing with your license.

I’m all for making scooping easier. You would not credit the number of people who walk by my yard, with a baggies caddy on the dog’s leash, and don’t pick up after unless someone is there. Ring doorbell cam has recorded the offenders.
It would work better in the US. Because most dog owners in the US have a part of the lawn that they let their dog go in, so the issue of carrying it wouldn’t apply. However, I have seen very similar products already in the US.
He said he has his figures ready and the first question on numbers and he flops, frankly how many you have to sell to maintain monopoly would be one of the first and most important figures he has, crazy, also did everyone see the been juice up the sides of the bag when he did it, and then he grabbed the bag by that bit to remove it....😂

Saying “This product should exist” is not inventing. The person who actually figured out how to make it work and owns the patent is the inventor. Anyone can dream up a product that should exist.

There's a way to defend your product, with a smile, not showing stress, or being flustered and not moving about fast/stressed like he was.
He was going completely confrontational on the way he was chasing to defend himself.
