Sounds like my Director ... No one thinks he ever went to school but since he's the boss's son he didn't really need to. Don't anyone mess with his figures - It's a comedy show each time. A wet dream.
I feel like you could put $20 Johnnie Walker Red in a $600 bottle and most wouldn’t notice a taste difference. Collectors also may not ever open the bottle to determine if it’s fake. Seems like a hobby vulnerable to fraud
@@JesseLeePeterson9 Johnnie Walker Red, Grants, Teachers and Ballantines are absolutely awful. Haven't bought them in years. Famous Grouse is the best of the mixed, or at least best value. Bowmore 15 years for me.
I think we know why lol the sharks are greedier than the dragons. One thing I notice is when a dragon makes an offer, they happily still give the pitchers a chance to hear the others out. For the sharks, they usually threaten to be out if they wanna hear other offers and won’t let the others talk sometimes. Plus the dragons accents make it more interesting tbh hahaha
Shark tank is 99% about the sharks who rarely actually make a deal after the show ends and 1% about the entrepreneur who is giving an emotional performance for tv ratings while also boosting the shark’s ego for investing in their story. It’s all bullshit nonsense. Dragons den has some of that, especially more and more in newer seasons, but it’s still at least 50% about the dragons and 50% about the entrepreneurs who actually discuss business.
Theyre giving away 10% of 10% for 65K which at a profit of 45K is 4.5K. It would take an investor 14 years just to make their money back. Or hang on to their gift bottles
If they make 10% profit from 500k lets say For example Then the offer to a investor is 10% of the profit what would b £5k thats how sh* that margin is 😅
They were there for exposure, nothing more. They can’t seriously have went into the den to try and get an investment in a business that they only get 10% of the profits from themselves.
It’s for continuity. They may edit different pitches from different days into one episode. The pitches in an episode aren’t necessarily all from the same session.
Ridiculous they didn't know their financials along with their business model having an instant cap means they can't grow exponentially in the long run. Great concept but poorly executed before approaching investors.

It's "would have" or "would've" rather than "would of" just for future reference. People make this mistake because they say "would've" so often which sounds a lot like "would of" and so they just end up forgetting the proper way to write it. Common mistake :)
Well we made 486k and our profit was over 500k. Everyone got that? Good, moving on.

ANY investment market based on 'vintages' is a open fraud opportunity. "Classic" cars being the worst.
Idk why but I prefer dragon's den over shark tank 🤷♂️

Also these dragons personify the name "Dragons" They are anyways more majestic than sharks.
@@Ziggykitty666The same thing happens with Dragons actually
Also because sharks always yell over each other and it's impossible to understand anything
I love them. They are great people.
How do people not know their numbers. Like this is the opportunity of a lifetime. You live and breathe the business no?
They were crammed into a room for 10 hours without food and water!
They should charge a 15% commission not a 10% commission for their whisky business.
That's about £70k, that's still very small numbers... they literally do those sums in the video :D
I think they're trying to sit underneath the fees paid at Auction. 15% (+VAT?) is quite a lot, plus next day shipping.
You have to buy alcohol... from an auction?
Man, I gave up drinking a long time ago... I used to be able to buy it in a shop :D
Cheers Touker!
Nice couple, hope they're successful 👍🏾
well they will be successful until they are asked to prove that a bottle is not fake.
why do so many come unprepared
Because it’s entertaining for the show
Because they don't want money, they come to advertise

SO.......they want to give a multi millionaire investor 10% of the business that only makes 10% profits.......OK.
"a multi millionaire investor" what is that? a type of endangered Serengeti animal?

Since when did anyone put water or ice in a single malt whisky?🤦♂️
Indeed
I do
Try it. It opens up the whisky 🥃 btw Malt Distillers take cask strength at 55%-60% and add water to bring it down to 40% ABV.
Since the dawn of whisky
You can drink any drink however you want. Put apple juice inside if you want.
