It's incredible how they got a horn to sound so much like a piano
Just the fact that they have thirty freakin' two horns playing all in tune is enough to impress me. The song just makes it that much better!
I'm assuming that part must be a lie, because there aren't 32 horns who have ever played in tune even on their own. We develop a genetic allergy to being in tune that clogs your throat withing 5 cents of just temperament.

Ally Hawkins it amazes me how well the play together with a stopped horn. It is such a hard thing to do in tune, let alone multiple people together

We played bohemian rhapsody in 7th grade, the french horn part was fun!
The sound quality of these horns is amazing and beautiful.
For marching band this year my band is playing this song and I just shared this with everyone in the band.

Gives me good warm fuzzy feelings. French horns have such a beautiful soothing sound. I am kind of biased though since I am a horn player.
The inscription has been changed. It used to only say horns. They changed it either because of my comment of because other people also contacted them pointing out that there were clearly other instruments that they neglected to list. I'm' glad to see that they finally added them all.

I am a horn player who loves the sound of the horn above all other instruments. When horns are used in place of the voice it sounds wonderful - but usually does NOT work as a replacement for the guitar. Then it becomes a novelty.

My son just started 6th grade and wants to play the french horn..I wasn't to sure about it since it seems that it sounds like a dying whale from the bedroom but in the last few weeks hes sounding much better and has a concert tonight. I'm going to show him this video tonight..I'm sure he will love it!

I got to choose if I wanted to be a clarinet or a horn, I chose horn because it looked cooler, all my friends were clarinet girls. I'm glad I chose horn because now i'm second chair. :) Clarinet is still good too! After six years and me replying right now, do you still play clarinet..???? Or any instrument perhaps? That would be so cool!

Oh km426, you're obviously hanging out with the wrong people, the horn is beautiful! :-) No more so than on this album, one of the greats of horn recording of all time. Do yourself a favour and get it (from Cala Records site)

I used to play French Horn in the alto sax section of our high school dance band. It really mellowed out the saxes. Very, very sexy, not saxy. ;D

@misteramerica112, If anyone thinks that horn players can't rock, swing, or play other than "classical" music should check out David Amram, Julius Watkins, Gunther Schuller, Vincent Chancy, Jacquelyn Adams, Mark Taylor, etc.

Keep Playing. You'll get this good and better. Maybe try other instruments too like piano and such. Never quit the horn since it's so hard to build up chops once one puts down the instrument.

I liked it, but I think it was almost "there" but not close enough. There was a very square/straight vibe to it that didn't get the headbanging attitude, especially at 3:18.
