As a both motorsport enthusiast and a meditation teacher, I'm happy to see it being put into practice in racing as well. But I must add that ego is not the enemy, we don't need to crucify it. It is a very anxious and pessimistic friend. So once we befriend it and hear it out, it will eventually become more optimistic. It takes time to reprogram it, as it took thousands of years of evolution to develop it. Nowadays, human lives have never been more easier, convenient and chill. However, the ego didn't get the memo just yet. 🙂
Awesome. At this level, everybody can drive the car well. It all comes down to split second decision making on track. The mental game is the WHOLE game. Great episode.❤️🏁❤️
Fantastic .. Love to see the GT4 getting its due. But there seems to be some inaccuracies. Patrick says he didn't dare get near a race car after he left in 2015...but what about those years after as part owner of Dempsey-Proton Racing? Not to mention his cameo at LeMans with Fassbender. Should be a good series to watch nonetheless.
So pumped for this series!!!!! I got to catch his interview in person with the GT4 RS at Porsche Rennsport Reunion 7 at Laguna Seca last year. Incredible moment.
We stayed in the same hotel when he raced at the Petit LeMans. I said hello to him in the breakfast buffet line. I always wonder if he told his friends I am even better looking in person too?
Dempsey at Le Mans.. the agony of the Team just.. watching and waiting for him to get the starting sequence right.. after stalling.. He was the Pro Amateur then right?..
The problem with the Hagerty youtube channel, so much good content, but since it is all in one channel, no way to subscribe or follow Long/Dempsey on the next episodes.
First 3 comments from hot young chicks. That probably know nothing about auto. Racing and all have little emojis after their comments. Can't quite put my finger on it but seems out of place.
@@MershedPerderders It is most likely just bot comments. The amount of spam accounts across all social medias is wild. I really highly doubt Hagerty has anything to do with them.
Oh be still my beating heart, a rich celebrity no talent is back racing!!! This is why racing is a joke in this country and we can’t seem to produce a decent F1 driver… 😂😂😂
One has nothing to do with the other sorry….we don’t have f1 drivers because we don’t send our young racers to compete in F1 ladder series that race on the tracks and under similar rules to F1 I.e. F4, F3 and F2. To run a season in F2 requires the drivers to fund their own seats either through family money (stroll is the most obvious current example of this type, no judgement just a fact) or through sponsorship or an F1 is supporting them financially. The amounts required are into the millions of dollars per year per seat. The F1 teams are going to pick from the ladder series as they were DESIGNED to train drivers for F1. Whether or not they were successful in this endeavor is open for discussion. All those things and more contribute
@@kipsned It absolutely does because sponsorship is wasted on nonsense like this or DEI crap! I know this game very well was involved in it for a large chunk of my younger life. I watched celebrities and people like Danica Patrick who never did sh!t in any junior series suck up all sponsorship dollars in place of those with talent who could have gone to Europe and done ff1600, F2000, F3, F3000 and ultimately F1.

Fantastic to see Patrick back in the car. What a great ambassador for racing. Wish he would have never left.
They’re could be a reason why

Interesting take, I like it
So great to have these guys on the track, bringing the competition and the joy of the sport. Not just to the series, but to a greater audience!
Racing is life. Everything that happens before or after is just waiting.

GREAT!
Patrick long could mop up any drivers mess

He was the Pro Amateur then right?..
racer by day, brain surgeon by night❤
Happy to see him back on track. I'm such a fan. I made in GRAN Turismo 7 game his car as replica. #Mike-Stafford
He should say " beautiful day to race "
Sweet 👍🏻 👍🏻

The Geometry Dash level, right?
the neurosurgeon is back!
Having Pat Long in a gentleman's series is a little unfair probably
Road to Le Mans was way better 💤💤

Those are just bots not real women, dont really know whats the point of someone having those, to just comment on videos? For what?
We have absolutely nothing to do with those. They are blocked and reported as often as we are able to catch them.

First comment in a while.
The pic at the start for some reason made me think it was horse racing ?! Thought dude was a jockey
Understandable mistake as Hagerty usually does videos on horses.
In reality he is a horse jockey, as all race car drivers are. He’s just ride hundreds of horses simultaneously.

I’m interpreting your comments as jealousy. Oh and how many times have you been on a 24 hours of Lemans winning team?
Washed out actor…acting his way through a “racing” reality show? No thank you!
And what have you done with your life?
Good point.
Stick to acting
What racing have you done exactly? 😂
Really? Admire the man for his talent, on track and in front or behind the camera-no need for rude or insulting comments.
