I love listening to Paul on interviews, so open and insightful. He’s sculpted some amazing miniatures as well, have enjoyed painting many over the years.
Great interview, Paul is a very talented sculptor and unbelievably fast. It's difficult to make a living in the world of commissions of (traditional) sculpting but Paul has the right esprit and vision that makes it work... Had the privilege of meeting him recently and admire his work. Nice one Paul, and thanks for the interview Jordan.
Really good, and down to earth interview. I've known Paul for many years, and shared lots of good times with him. I've seen him grow in his craft, and I know he deserves all the plaudits he gets. And I know Mrs Ook would say the same ;)
Great interview and not just because I also never liked green stuff at all… Thanks for loving my comment yesterday even if I left half way through the interview and as I always do I returned today to finish it off and now I’m thinking about the Barons game that Paul is sculpting miniatures for and not just because my Pile of Shame isn’t big enough already 😂
Great interview Jordan, I got to have a brief chat with him at Peach-Con and the pleasure of watching him sculpt. Can't imagine sculpting anything at the scales he does!
Are you going to interview any of his sculpting clones? It's the only way that Paul can possibly get through the vast number of amazing sculpting that he does, the dudes a machine! What a legend!
The majority of my miniatures collections which span a 1000+ years have been sculpted by Paul… and he’s spot on about the disappointment when not getting a Lynx gift set instead of a model kit.
Great stuff. I think it was Michaelangelo not da Vinci who said he saw the figure in the stone. My first miniature was a GW skeleton in Bedouin type clothing with a kapesh; i remember how the fabric kinda hung differently that must have been the early 80s with a high lead content and a puddle drop base. I loved those haliquins the death jester was my favourite. We will truly have lost something when this last generation of true scupters have retired.

As always your the master of interviewing Jordan
Cheers Peachy!
Love Pauls miniatures. Gangs of Rome is my favorite, but Barons War is great too. Great chat, thank you.
Paul is a legend! Thank you for this interview!

I really enjoyed meeting and talking to Paul at PeachCon; his sculpting is fantastic. Yet another great interview too Jordan.
Probably the best historical sculptor alive. Great interview.
Cheers Phil!

They’re not allowed out let alone talk to anyone.

@@Jez-Hunt do you want less figures?

lol, he fed the material into just ‘I’, intelligence rather than artificial intelligence.
