I feel like the reason why it’s so expensive is because the bill quality is A+. I’ve had the Ridgewallet for over two years and not even a scuff or a scratch on it and I drop it and do a lot of things with the wallet mostly keep it on my pocket, but the quality is very good and will last you for probably a lifetime For $75 I would buy it
$95 is nothing for anything that elevates the user experience of a tool you use a lot everyday. Personally I am always fighting my keys in my pocket shuffling around and I can see this innovation being fantastic. The wallet changed my whole edc experience. I never thought about what it costed after the first day of use.
I have a KeySmart key holder. The process of trying to add keys is very frustrating as the screw is super tiny and is very difficult to handle, especially to a guy with big hands & long fingers such as myself. The Ridge version is appears to be way better. I own The Ridge Wallet. I may consider their keycase just based on the "ease" of adding keys to it and the reputation of The Ridge. Thanks for the review!
The orbitkey is a great alternative and 1/3 the cost. Although there isn’t a hard case. They have you and leather options but it does the same thing for a fraction of the cost.
I was inyeres5ed til you said between $75 and $95. Thanks for getting that out there early so I didn't waste anymore of my time. That price is way more than its worth.
I know this is an older video and everyone kind of hates on the price but in all reality it’s a lifetime product. For the price, if the scales break, warranty. If the rubber breaks, warranty. If the clip bends out of shape, warranty. You can spend the money on it and never need to buy another key case, same thing goes for their wallets
I suppose it’s best suited for back bags cause it honestly looks pretty thick. Just to put it into perspective a smartphone alone is already pretty thick in one’s pocket and that accessory is thicker.
If you have the keys pointed out, you can hold them, squeeze the "case" together, then install the screw. Definitely not as hard to assemble as shown here...
@@Cheese_Meister I pulled the trigger and just went ahead and bought it. Been holding up well for the past few months vs this cheap Amazon one I had before that the screw kept coming loose. The way it’s designed with the screw having a click/locking mechanism. It won’t come loose.
I want one of these so bad but I literally don’t use keys 🔑. My house key is a card my car key is a key fob the key for my P.O. Box is the button pusher
Seventy-five dollars is too much for a fancy keyring. People need to quit blowing it up and making it sound better than it is, a fucking glorified keyring. I have the wallet and I probably should have done from the bundle where you get the keyring for thirty-five bucks extra but seventy-five dollars is stupidly offensive.
Thank you for showing the process of putting the keys on the keycase, I was really struggling and figured I was doing it wrong.

If it was 30-40 dollars sure. But $95? Nah man it doesn’t even have gps or anything fancy. If they ever have a half off sale I’ll snag one

You get one for $50 with wallet combo and the aluminum is cheaper
Cost me 100$ and it’s not worth it. Sure, you use it everyday but Idk…I expected better.
Agreed, $30 and I'll snag one... But not for $95.
Got the wallet for Christmas and the key case for my birthday in March nice items from Ridge. Like them both.
Which model key case?
Thanks for the review. Simple and straight to the point 👍
I’m a huge ridge fan! I love the key case… it might be pricey, but the quality holds up!

Same here. I had the same key smart for 5yrs+. Def hate the tiny screws
Did you acquire one?
The notch is meant for you to push the keys through rather than pull out.
I mean, he was using the screwdriver the wrong way round to start with too - I'm taking this review with a pinch of salt lol
I thought the same things. Very frustrating to watch. Not taking this review very seriously.

Key Smart is also another cheaper alternative.
This Ridge seems huge! I have the Quiet Carry version and it’s smaller and neater.
You were right ! The rubber end didn't last more than a few weeks
Thank you for showing me how to open it!
95 bucks is insane.
for real. looks like a$20-30 item 🤣
I was inyeres5ed til you said between $75 and $95. Thanks for getting that out there early so I didn't waste anymore of my time. That price is way more than its worth.
That rubber loop is also something Im thinking won't last too long
Perhaps. Lifetime warranty softens the blow.
Great review. Might pick one of these up since the price is low for Black Friday
You sound like Joe Pera bro. Nice vid.
Mine on the way I was gonna get black but it was sold out so I got the green and it will match my Kershaw butterfly knife same color
Nice video. Have you experienced the screw getting loose over time and requiring retightening? Thanks.
Have you ever heard of a product called Loctite?
Blue loctite. But I prefer the orbitkey.
It's cool, I really like their forged carbon. At the same time, I think I'll stick with my Quiet Carry.

Can the keys be turned a full 360°?
I assume you can add your car keys to the end there with that loop and ring. Is it comfortable in your pocket?

@@03tank57ye but its more convenient then ha ing 6 keys on a keychain. Its uncomfy

Where do I put my car key
That’s what I want to know.
Is this the same as the Muay Thai teep
but will it take a chubb key?
Could you combine the key case with the wallet case?
Very useful 🙏 thank you
Wonder if it’ll fit a Ford key you know like a car key
Can I hold car keys?
Snapped my carbon fiber keycase in couple of months.. not really good quality for $95 keycase .. my orbitkey keycase last longer
is the belt clip removable?
Is loctite required for the screw so it doesn't become lose over time?
That’s my concern as well. If that screw becomes loose what-so-ever, then bye-bye keys!
@@Cheese_Meister I pulled the trigger and just went ahead and bought it. Been holding up well for the past few months vs this cheap Amazon one I had before that the screw kept coming loose. The way it’s designed with the screw having a click/locking mechanism. It won’t come loose.

Does a key fob fit tho
Can u add a key fob to it??
Yes
Probably takes up 5/6 key spots😂
They’re cool & all but ridiculously overpriced
Impossible for most people with an iota of dexterity issues.
Great review. Wallet is great. Think I’ll pass on this.
You can get a Keybar cheaper and better quality from the US unlike the Ridge is made in China
I've never had more difficulty to use a key holder in my life.
If you think this is a hassle to assemble, try the Keybar and the Ridge becomes your best friend lol.
I wonder how a task as easy as putting keys into this could be called 'laborious' or difficult.
Doesn't look too appealing and not worth 60 bucks
If this held car keys I’d get it..
I had one it’s not worth it I ended up returning it
❤️❤️
looks nice but…car keys
Temu..10$
$75 for that? No other features? Hell no! The most I'd pay would be $19.99.
You’ll get shit quality but by all means
@@skylertaylor1154 More power to you if you can afford $75 for a keycase. 👌
Looks like someone’s broke 👀

That's what I was thinking. I might would try it out for 35 but that's as high as I would go
Stooooooooopid way to BURN your US$ 95!
I can afford it. But im not stupid enough to pay $95 for this thing.
100 dollas for a keycase.
People are TRIPPING HARD
Aliexpress do your thing
$100.00 no way.. I would put my keys in a Ziploc bag before I buy one of these.
That's what a poor person would say. Don't be poor.
Doesn't solve any problems. Makes more. Just a flex. Bad product.
2:00 You are trying way too hard with the English language to explain a glorified keyring.
Imagine paying over 30 bucks for something every grandpa paid 5 bucks for at any other store
