this was excellent, and the S2 costuming for the Seanchan has been amazing - as promised - in the show so far
This was a great interview with the most frustrating editing - a lot of the time when a detail of the costume is being discussed (eg accepted cuffs) the actual detail is not shown. I don’t know if the footage was there, but it would be great if we could see each of the details being discussed as it’s discussed - either from this interview or the show.
She's doing such an incredible job! the costumes are stunning...
The best designs I have seen in a show in such a long time! Brilliant genius and I love the fabric manipulation techniques!!
"All the colors of the ajahs on the cuffs." Camera moves away before showing cuffs.
Interesting video, but was the cameraman intentionally NOT showing what she was explaining? It happened repeatedly and was quite frustrating.
This was fantastic. Sharon Gilham and her team are excellent - the costuming is gorgeous this season. Thank you.
Amazing! I'm a big historical costuming fan, and I love seeing the design elements that come into one of my favorite shows.
Such a beautiful costumes ❤
Sharon Gilham better clear every mantle in her house, I have a feeling she's gonna need room for some statues.
The costumes so far for season 2 have been stunning. I wish I could see them in person, they're just top notch!
Wheel of time puts rings of power to shame! Not even close to the same budget but looks and feels way more like a real world
Great video
Overall, I love the costuming in Season 2. In particular, that outfit the Keeper of the Chronicles was wearing when Liandrin confronts her was gorgeous! And Perrin's new vest is fantastic! I need one for Renaissance Faire!
I can't stand the interpretation of the Amyrlin's stole though--I think it's exceedingly unflattering on Suiane--but apparently that was a different designer. I wonder what this lady would have used.
And while I mostly like how the Seanchan look, the "insect-like" appearance she's referring to was actually intended to describe the soldiers' helmets as looking like a samurai (which can look insect-like to someone who isn't familiar with that culture). That's clear from the artwork in the book. But be that as it may, and while I was disappointed not to get the look I was anticipating, the look they got is still good.
surtou beaucoup beaucoup de collaborwaychion working parce que clairement ce n'est pas elle seule qui fait le travaille de modélisation .. par contre elle est seule à en récolter la portée et la renomée...
