Love watching use, always makes me smile 😁❤💯
Breathtaking forest, Thankyou for wonderful video of all the yummy chanterelles. Warm greetings from Greece.
Sorry about the dry weather. It was very dry here too. The only Chanty I found this year was in my yard.
Haha that can’t be by chance!
No, cleaning mud and spore covered boots in your yard is a great propagating technique. Bi-Color Boletes also.
Another great vid. Chanterelles are delicious. I wish I could find them more often.
Beauties I've been lucky here in maine last few years found a lot of yellow foot and winters side by side but none as large as the ones u finding would love to come hunt were you guys are some day
glad to see you got some chanterelles this season. Here on the NOP we had a few early frosts so we didn’t see many young ones pop up. 🌲🍄🐿
Sorry to hear that. Not a good season for golden Chanterelles here but a pretty good season for yellowfoot chanterelles.
I’ve never found one :( I really want to find chanterelles. I live in Squamish
❤❤❤
Cool can’t wait to check it out. We picked burn morels just for ourselves at the bearhole lake burn. It was exciting to find burn morels for the first time. We’ve always hunted natural s every spring and we know a couple really good secret spots.our best was 150 in two tries. We usually find 40-50 . Not bad for naturals.and lots of big ones👍
I’m obsessed with morels lol
As are we! I hope you didn’t get chased out by the smoke at bearhole lake. I’m guessing you were there before the evacuation order?
No we were there got out in time but returned on august 9 and found a bunch of nice big greys . I guess they lasted till September. Not huge amounts but they were there. A friend picked right till frost .
We picked and dried 22 mason 1 lt. Mason jars and we’re enjoying eating right now when it’s 39 below lol
That is awesome. I've harvested fires near Tumbler Ridge before, it's a good area. Glad you got some dried for the winter!@@proy2241
I had terrible luck with goldens this year but great luck with white chantarelles. Were they later than normal for you this year?
Yes they were later than normal. Some years we see them in late July or August but this year we found the first goldens in mid October. On the other hand it was an early start for winter Chanterelles.
I love chanterelles but I’ve never found one around Grande cache where we live.did u pick burn morels in 2023 ?
Yes we did. Working on putting together those videos now. They will be on your youtube channel following the 2023 fall season playlist.
