Something I've done every year is treat myself to a few online purchases of special things. It's may small way of making the month a bit brighter, because I've always thought getting things through the mail was fun. Also, some of my international friends may send something through the mail. Without the mail, my December is pretty much ruined. I have nothing to look forward to.
